The hotel is so perfectly situated for those enjoying both the Chueca and the major tourist destinations that I don't think it can be beat for value and cleanliness. The staff here are wonderful, very helpful in many regards. The bathroom in my room was huge and clean. The only downside I saw was a lack of charm in the very sterile room, but I wasn't in the room enough to want "charm". The hotel property itself has much more charm and again, it's a steal for the location and price.

Room Tip: Get a room off the street if you are easily bothered by noise, as the area does get people wandering...

Dear traveller,

We are very happy because, reading your remark, you have enjoyed your visit to our City and the hotel has covered your expectations.

The location, our staff, the cleaning of our hotel and the great deals we offer are our strong points. We are not a big hotel chain and we know that the costumer care must be perfect to survive.

We hope to see you here very soon you will feel like in home.

Best regards

We just returned from an overnight stay in this small, centrally located hotel in Madrid. The room was comfortable, as was the bed, the bathroom large and well appointed. The staff was very accommodating, including packing us takeaway breakfasts as our flight left before breakfast was served. There is a restaurant, although we chose to eat in the neighborhood. The hotel is within walking distance of the Hop On Hop Off stop. There was some noise from the street...but who cares...it sounded like young people having fun.

Dear guest,

Thank you very much for nice review about the hotel.

The hotel location is perfect as starting point to visit the City. From here you can walk everywhere but if you prefer you can arrange the hop on hop off bus that is 4 minutes walking from the hotel.

In my opinion Ex Libris, our restaurant, is one of the best options to eat on the area, but around the hotel you will find a lot of bars and restaurants…

Thank you again and we hope to see you soon

Best regards

Good location off Gran Via but mediocre hotel--rooms in need of improvements like better mattress and towels, breakfast that starts earlier and receptionists that know the local dining scene.

Would I stay here again when visiting Madrid? No. There are better hotels at comparable price points especially in the same area.

Dear guest,

We are very sorry because the hotel has not covered your expectations.

We work hard to keep our hotel like the first day. We understand that you don’t like the decoration but we consider that all the items and services in the room are update and on perfects conditions.

Our breakfast is from 7:15 to 10:30 from Monday to Friday and Saturday and Sunday starts at 8:00 to 11:30. We never had problems with this timetable. If any guest needs take breakfast earlier we can prepare a takeaway breakfast, it is not a problem.

We are always reading the feedback of our costumer, your opinion is very important for us. Our front desk staff is always one the point best rated for the 97% of the guest. They have the best information about shows, sightseeing, Museum, restaurants…

It is a pity that you don’t want to stay with us again and we respect your decision but if you change your opinion we will be here to make you a pleasant stay in our hotel.

Best regards

Hotel was a bit tired and old looking, room was small and bed were two single beds pushed together. It was quite noisy the two nights we were there and it made sleeping difficulty. Service was adequate but nothing to exceptional. Location was good, but elevators were extremely small and made moving your luggage around somewhat difficulty.

Dear guest,

Firstly thank you for spend part of your time to share your experience in our hotel. We are very sorry because we think the hotel hasn’t covered your expectations.

Our hotel standard rooms have between 19 to 25 square meters and the superior rooms are from 28-35 square meters. The hotel building is from 1882 and it was completely renovated in 2005. The hotel has 40 rooms, it is very small hotel, but all the rooms are bigger if we compare with other hotels on centre.

The hotel is located in Chueca area, 50 metres from Gran Vía. It is normally a very quiet area but we can not forget that we are in the centre of a big City as Madrid is.

We never read anything about our elevator. We consider that they have a very good size. For example they are prepared to be used for wheelchair.

Best regards

Stayed here for three nights and it was excellent!

Perfect central location for Gran Via and all the shopping and sights. You do hear some street noise at night but not too intrusive and bear in mind that the hotel is located about 100 yds off of Gran Via. Staff very nice and attentive. Rooms modern and clean with safes included in the price. Beds very comfy. Breakfast served until late and was really good with a selection of cereals, cold meat, toast, yogurts etc etc. Loved it!

Dear traveller,

Thank you very much for the rating you have given to our hotel, we are very happy.

The hotel area is very quiet but we can not forget that we are located in the centre of a big City and sometimes there are a lot people around here.

We try to adapt to the needs of our customers, it is why for example during the week end we close the buffet breakfast at 11:30, we offer a free wifi connection…

Thank you very much to share your experience in our hotel with all the futures travellers and we hope to see you again very soon.

Best regards

This hotel is fairly decent, nothing flashy but perfect for an affordable city break. It's very close to Banco de espania metro stop so easy to get to airport, basic amenities and friendly staff, I'd say the place is on par with a premier Inn (UK hotel chain).

It's close to the main centre (Puerto del Sol / Gran Via) but I'd say it's still a 10 minute walk so I wouldn't classify it as in the centre per se. That said its in a quite street and so it's peaceful at night. I would recommend it if with a family or don't like the hustle and bustle of being smack bang in the centre but close enough to walk.

All the main attractions are within walk distance.

Beds were not very comfortable but may have been just our room!!

Dear traveller,

Thank you very much for spend part of your time to share your experience in our hotel, we appreciate it.

Firstly I am very sorry if our beds looked like you not very comfortable, we will check it to detect if there is some problems on it, thank you for let us know.

The hotel is located in the centre of Madrid, in Chueca District and 30 seconds walking from Gran Vía. We think that the hotel is a perfect starting point to visit all the main interesting places. Puerta del Sol is 8 minutes from here, the Prado Museum is only 10 minutes walking…

We are happy because we think that in general you enjoyed your visit to our City. We hope to see you again in our hotel we will be happy to hosting you.

All of the hotel staff was very friendly and spoke excellent English. They had tips on restaurants, sightseeing, and anything else we asked about. The location is wonderful as it's only a few blocks from Cibeles Square (where the express bus to the airport picks up and drops off), a handful of blocks from Puerta del Sol, and just down the street from a metro stop. A grocery store and tapas bars are just down the street, too.

We did upgrade our room and it was a large hotel room, probably the largest room I've ever stayed in in Europe. The bed was harder than U.S. beds, but not uncomfortable and there was plenty of closet space. The bathroom was very spacious as well and I loved the bathtub. Because it is a couple blocks off the main street, the outside noise is minimal and we didn't hear any inside noise at night, which provided for great opportunities for sleeping in!

Dear guest,

Thank for the nice remarks about our hotel and for the qualification you give us.

On behalf all the entire staff thank you for the nice words you have write about us, we appreciate it.

The hotel location is perfect like starting point to visit the City, from here you can walk to all the main places. We are also in a quiet area of the Chueca District.

Like you, we think that the superior rooms worth, they have the best location in the building, they are bigger than the standard and all for only 15€ more.

Good luck and we hope to see you in your next trip to Madrid.
