“Very Cool Hotel”
Reviewed 3 July 2014

This is one cool hotel, the design in the rooms is breath taking. ( I have added a few photos )

Service at the bars was exceptional, great drinks, well made and good friendly staff. The open air bar at the top of the hotel has exception views and perfect for a late night cocktail.

The hotel is a taxi ride from the center of Madrid but not so much that it is unaffordable or a horrible expense.

If in Madrid well worth the experience.

I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights and it was an interesting experience.
I have mixed feelings about it. The hotel is very interesting, each floor has different architecture.
Modern and clean overall, with a nice breakfast and nice staff.
However, the internet connection was not easy to access, very slow and it expired within 24 hours. You had to reset it each day. I couldn't use it because of the lack of speed....
I stayed at the sixth floor. The room was very nice and clean, except the bed. The linen on the bed did not seem freshly changed, it had stains on it and it was teared apart on the sides.... The evening of the second day I arrived really late and I discovered they haven't changed the sheets. Also it was a little noisy during the night, I could hear everything from the hallway and the rooms next to mine.
The breakfast was ok.
So an interesting nice hotel, but their services should improve in order to match the five stars it is supposed to have.

I stayed there for a couple of nights, I had gone to Madrid especially for la Decima....!!!

The hotel rooms were spectacular, with their projector, the TV experience was worth something. The reception were very helpful, and they sent someone to repair my curtains (they refused to close) pretty quickly.

The hotel is a brilliantly designed, and its a very good example of modern architecture, the rooms also are a bit different....!!

I loved my stay, will definitely think about staying there again, if I find myself in Madrid again.

We stayed in a first floor Zaha Hadid room. An entirely white bedroom and an entirely black bathroom. It looked cool at first glance, but it was confusing and impractical and unfortunately failed to function as an effective hotel room. Although it might have been fun for a quick, one-night stay, after a few hours the lack of accessible plugs, flat surfaces and lights in the bathroom became frustrating. The air conditioning is extremely noisy and hard to control. The wifi sign-on process is complicated and needed repeating over and over again. We did have fun, visiting the lobby of each floor to see the different designs, and it is clearly an impressive place, just not a very comfortable hotel. On the plus side, breakfast was superb. The hotel is a good 30 minute tube journey from central Madrid.

Room Tip: Choose on arrival if you can.

Great hotel, nice helpful staff, wonderful restaurant. Absolutely useless, overly complicated wifi registration process that times out after 24hours and is just plain useless. Waste of time in this modern day.

Each floor is designed by a different architect. How cool. We spent some time comparing our floors and rooms. Very modern and sort of half way between city centre and airport. Liked it very much and room quality was good. Very clean overall and great staff.

Stayed there for a few nights. Just the fact that the floors are designed by different artists to different themes is worth the visit. Then there is the elevator that overlooks the street below and the platform of the lounge that also separates you from the street below with nothing but a metal grid. The rooms are nice and comfortable. Service is good. Only "hang ups": one not so friendly reception employee and internet issues in some floors. I am hoping by now these internet issues are solved! Otherwise, recommended.
