The best aspect of this hotel is its location, 20 metres from Plaza Santa Anna and with many of Madrid's attractions within 10/15 minutes walk. Whilst it is very pleasant,it has no "kerb appeal" and is not the palacial luxury that their website suggests. The staff are helpful and friendly. We booked a superior room that was spacious and comfortable, but did not justify the cost of 230 euros per night, room only. Almost adjacent are both the Vincci Soho and Room mate Alicia both of which I suspect offer better value for money. Don't use the hotel's taxi service back to the airport - it costs 12 euros more than the street taxi.

Room Tip: Probably not worth the extra for a superior room

Very civilized, pleasant place in a wonderful location. Good rooms, modern bathrooms, full breakfast. One of the few places we saw in the country where you can find a king bed, as opposed to two twin beds pulled together. Helpful, cheerful staff. The only drawback is that given that the location is so central, it is not easy to get to by car; but then driving in Madrid is not a great experience for those who are not used to it.

We stayed in this hotel a total of 4 nights. It is ideally located. The rooms are very nicely finished. The area is quiet, but very close to all the actions of Madrid. The staff is extremely nice and helpful, very courteous and responsive. Initially we booked 2 nights before heading to Andalusia. then we decided to book additional 2 nights after our Andalusian excursion. Both rooms were great but the 2nd room was a little warm as it got afternoon sun and the AC turns off when the card is not inserted in the slot. I highly recommend this hotel. WiFi worked well for us and it was free. Breakfast Buffet is good but expensive. We ate there once. There are so many cafes and restaurant around the area to choose from.

I had such a nice stay in this hotel. The location is perfect - close to the sights and restaurants, but not overrun. A taxi stand down the street made it convenient for me to get to the airport for my trip home. Fine furnishings, both in the room and the common areas. Breakfast was nice. Good TV with international channels, and the computer near the lobby was fast and free. I can't think of any negatives - only that I wasn't able to stay longer. Best of all was the professional and friendly staff. They not only made me feel well-cared for during my stay, but were kind enough to mail me an important item I had left behind in my room. They went above and beyond for me, and I felt this was a reflection of how each guest is treated. Highly recommend this hotel.

Returned to this hotel a few months after my previous stay. Earlier this year, the hotel was undergoing refurbishments in the reception area and is now better and more cosy.
Always nice staff, both at reception and in the breakfast room, even the barman quite sympathetic. Also a positive note on cleanliness and the original decoration of interestingly spacious rooms.
The hotel is very well located for either tourists or business visitors, breakfast is good and another plus is the good wifi connection in rooms (still for free) that is quite fast when compared with similar accesses in hotels.

Great location very close to museums & just off Plaza Santa Ana. The hotel is very clean, and the staff pleasant and helpful. Wifi didn't always work well in the room, but was fine both in the lobby and the lounge areas. Didn't eat there so can't comment on the food, but plenty of restaurants nearby.

Excellent small quiet hotel in centre of Madrid tucked away and so close to busy square with Tapas bars and restaurants. It was spotless, service excellent and very tastefully furnished. Excellent value for money and the room we had although small, even had a balcony to sit on. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to speak to you. Breakfast very good. Cannot fault it in any way. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Madrid especially limited time as so convenient to all attractions. Will definately stay here again. Open top bus a very good way of seeing Madrid and a short 5 minute walk from the hotel to the first stop. One of the nicest cities have visited, so clean and so much to see and do. Look forward to visiting again.

Room Tip: We had a room or only one with a balacony, nice to sit and relax on after a days sightseeing with a...
