I did not have a good experience here. The hotel staff were unvaryingly rude and the place had a bad feel. It's not a hotel for tourists or for couples. Within 30 seconds of entering it was obvious the hotel is for business people.
We chose the Deluxe room (the best room that's not a suite) and were very unimpressed. It had only a double bed, when we had been used to king and queen sized beds in hotels of comparable prices. The decor, particularly the curtains, was ugly and only soup, shampoo and body wash was provided in bathroom, rather than the full range of toiletries (such as shower cap, tooth brush, razor, moisturizer).
The internet was good but the gym's equipment was old, loud and obviously uncared for. It was a hot box because of the West-facing windows, even in November.
It is conveniently located, close to the main train station, art galleries and gardens, but is on a busy and ugly street.
I would not recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: If you go in summer make sure you don't get a west facing room on the 7th floor - it would be wa...

Nice hotel, good location close to main train station, Retiro park and the museum triangle. We used it for a short weekend stay in Madrid traveling by train from Valencia, and targeting to visit all 3 main museums and see a temporary Dali exebition. We got a good deal on the room price and location worked perfect.

This is a lovely hotel, well placed very close to the railway station and many of the major attractions. We picked up the room for €70 and would consider it a bargain. The rooms are modern and spacious and the staff are very attentive.

The hotel was comfortable and very well placed-half a minute's walk to the metro station. The breakfast was really outstanding and great value. the rooms were comfortable and clean. The rooms at the back are the quiet ones so request these if booking as they go quickly. it's also just over the road to the madrid conservatoire if you're auditioning.

Room Tip: Great location for the city centre. An ideal hotel for a nice city break. The breakfast is outstandi...

I like this hotel. It is not very fancy or luxurious in any way but you get what you need in a very good and modern way. The room I had was pretty large for a big city hotel. Excellent bathroom with plenty of space to put your stuff. Clean. There even was a comfy chair with a foot rest and a reading lamp above (highly appreciated). The TV was smaller than usual nowadays.

The breakfast contains both hot and cold dishes, a lot of fruit and vegatables, cheeses, cold cuts and a variety of sweet pastries.

I didn't talk to the reception more than checkin/out which was smooth and quick.

My main reason for selecting this hotel is the location close to Atocha station. I was going to do a lot of day trips and with less than five minutes to the main train station it can't be beaten. The Metro is even closer.

This hotel is walking distance from Atocha station, easily reachable by Renfe train from Madrid airport. The open-top Madrid tour buses stop just around the corner, and the hotel can sell you tickets. It is easily walking distance to the Thyssen Museum and the prado, and just a block away from the Reina Sofia.

The hotel is clean, modern comfortable and quiet. There's free wifi in the room, and the bathroom is great. Just what we wanted!

We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant. The bakeries are the place to get breakfast, and El Brilliante (just across the road and up the side street) is perfect for bocadillos or paellas.

Room Tip: We stayed here at the beginning and end of our trip, and both times had rooms at the back, which may...

Stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is comfortable, modern and very clean. Rooms were a good size and bed was comfortable. Bathrooms were a good size but shower pressure wasn't great. Staff on front desk could have been friendlier but all requests were dealt with. I would definitely stay here again, the streets beside the hotel are filled with great bars, restaurants and cafés and it's within walking distance of the major sights.
