“Good location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 April 2010

Good hotel, excellent location right next to the main train station, nice rooms and good service. Although it didn't bother us, the hotel is next to a main road so it can be quite noisy outside in the evenings which made the hotel feel somewhat more chaotic in the day too. Our room was an average size room although we were spoilt by the amazing hotel we stayed in Barcelona so in comparison, it didn't have the 'luxury' feeling even though both were 4 stars. Nothing to complain about though, we were happy with the hotel.

Reception area very trendy.

No complaints. We had a great stay at the Paseo del Arte. It was in a great location and the rooms, although a bit small were clean and modern. In particular, the toiletries were fun and cute--matched the vibe of the hotel. Good price, not a bad choice at all.

The location is very good. You can walk to most of the museum and tourist spots. 3mins walk from metro if you don't like walking. It's opposite to Sofia museum. Many restaurant near the hotel. You can find like starbucks, McDonald, and many Spanish restaurant around. However there is no supermarket, only convenience store where you can bring drinks, wine, chips back to hotel for late night dinner.

Literally cannot fault this fantastic hotel, we were very comfortable and would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a relaxing city break. I would say this hotel is more of an adult environment as only saw 1 family. Great location close to all amenities and metro stations. Would highly recommend.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights on the outbound leg of a Spain vacation. This was a perfectly decent hotel, although I'd say it definitely had a "business" hotel vibe versus the vacationers feel - not necessarily a problem. Front desk staff were good - but again a bit more business like. The hotel lobby and rooms are finished in a mainstream modern way. The room was the largest of any I've stayed in Europe, a plus. I also requested a room on the backside, and it was very quiet - great for sleeping after other experiences.

Location-wise, it is very convenient to the Atocha metro and train stations, a definite plus if you're coming or going via train. Otherwise, for most sightseeing, it's a decent option as you can easily walk to the art museums & Retiro park. Other attractions - just depends on how far you like to walk. However, on my first pass through Madrid, I stayed up on Gran Via and think I liked it better up there. Also for the vacationer - internet use is rather pricey. I found a locaturio (think that's what it's called) right by the Anton Martin metro - .75euro for 1/2 hour.

We really liked this hotel. The rooms are small, but the bathroom is large compared to usually very small bathrooms in the US hotels. The hotel is very clean and has wonderful location. A lot of very nice restaurants and sightseeings in the neighborhood. Husa rocks!
