This is our 4th stay this year and again it was excellent. Accor do it right in our opinion with Ibis Barajas. The staff are always extremely helpful and happy, always a smile for any question, any language.

This time we chose to have the buffet breakfast which was good value and a good selection of foods. Our preference normally is at the little 24 hr café next to reception as its a really nice place to sit, but both are fine.

Under hotel parking is a god send as well and at EU8.00 is not bad at all for the convenience.

Overall love this place and there are plenty of eateries in easy walk if you want something different for dinner, also a Mercado right next door for groceries. We ate a an American themed restaurant one night for dinner and it was delightful and well priced. The thing you can rely on with the Ibis, is you get what you expect, and then some, but never less. Looking forward to our next stay.

Room Tip: Hmm, have never had a bad room, always a King bed room, on 1st, 2nd floors, all were good. Air cons...

If you just want to stay one night to cath the next flight it is very ok. Clean, nice but boring place. Beside hotel is a big supermarket. They have free shuttle to airport every 30 minutes. You can eat both breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel.

We stayed at this hotel twice this month (June 2014) during long connections between flights. A nice clean and modern hotel, near the airport, with a free shuttle service from/to the airport. They were even flexible with the check-in time and let us enter at 10 am instead of the formal noon time (which is relatively early by itself).

It basically has everything you'd expect during such a break between flights, including a very comfortable bed and shower, and a very quite room (in spite of the proximity to the airport).

Of course it's not in the city center, as it's not supposed to be there, but there are several small shops and restaurants around. Downsides: There is a new comfortable plywood coating to the floor, but it somewhat squeaks when stepping on. Also the room is relatively small, but that didn't bother us.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 1 night prior to a flight out of Madrid. We had driven several hours and just needed a place to sleep before an early flight the next morning. This hotel was perfect for that. It is an IBIS, so fairly basic accommodations, but quite comfortable. The bed was incredibly comfortable, actually - much more comfortable than expected. Everything was scrupulously clean, the staff was nice, and the price was right. The ONLY reason for a rating of 4 rather than 5 is the service at the restaurant. It was painfully slow and they got our order wrong. We ate the meals that were brought because we didn't have time to wait for them to cook anything else. Everyone was perfectly nice, just slooowwwww.

This is my "go to" hotel for my long international flight layover stays. The frequent shuttle means a short wait time and the check in is quick and easy with English speaking staff. The room is simple, clean and comfortable and the bathroom is spacious and accommodating.

We booked a family room to accommodate us and our one year old twin boys. The room comprised a double build (new and super comfy, if not a little on the small side) and a fold-out third single bed. I had ordered a single cot which was in place when wearrived. I had only ordered one thinking that their wouldn't be enough space for a second, but the room itself was surprisingly large. I requested a second cot which arrived in less than 5 minutes, all made up and ready to go.
The room was clean and fresh, with nice wooden floors.

The restaurant has decent food. They have a good value deal of a main with a choice of starter or dessert and a drink for 13 euros. Breakfast is 7.50 euros and fine, although the selection is quite small. There are a lot of different restaurants all around the hotel if eating there doesn't appeal.

The staff were really friendly, helpful and quick to respond. The day after we checked out of the hotel, I realised we had accidentally left behind one of our boys teddy bears (found its way under the bed). I emailed the hotel about it and the responded promptly having found the bear and offering to post it to our home address. Top marks for service!

I will definitely stay here again. I have also stayed at the Axor Barajas, another one of the Madrid airport hotels, and while it is of higher quality than the Ibis, its also more than twice the price. I think you'd be hard pressed to get the same high quality and service of the Ibis at a better price.
