“Well located airport hotel at usual Hilton standard”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 November 2010

I stayed one night at this hotel after flying in to Madrid in the evening. The free shuttle was easy to find and Hilton branded so stood out amongst the others. Starting with the shuttle driver, the service was friendly and polite. The hotel is only two years and it shows, the hollow, square centre space is very impressive. As a Gold VIP member I had access to the VIP lounge, which while not the fanciest I've ever used was clean, well stocked and had delicious Spanish snacks. The room was appointed well, though the water from the taps smelled bad at times. Apart from that, the stay was without any downfalls. The location is good too, but only if you want to stay near the airport. Excellent!

After problems at another hotel, we were able to book 2 rooms at the Hilton at 3am in the morning! Although situated out of town, the hotel is excellent. We were on the Executive level and could not fault the rooms - great bathrooms, comfy beds and a good experience all round. Breakfast is great! We took a taxi into town each day which was not a problem.

The Hotel is just 5 minutes from airport. They have free shuttle to the airport. A metro station just 1km away. Very convenient to business travelers (meeting facilities are excelent), to catch an airplane the next day or to visit Madrid on a slower pace, as it may take you 45 min to get to the city center by metro. Clean, spacious and modern, good and quick room service. Next time in Madrid, I will stay there!

Enjoyed our last night in Spain at this modern and classy establishment. Great rooms, fantastic executive lounge, breakfast with lots of choice in the middle of a stark atrium. Only wish we had bathing suits to enjoy the beautiful swimming pool that changed colors in the night. Room itself was modern, yet comfortable. Bathroom was superior. One of the nicest Hiltons we have stayed at.

..but just don't make any telephone calls from your room!
I know we should have read the rates more carefully, but we decided to call a local ticket agent to arrange for some Real Madrid football tickets during our short stay. The phone call maybe lasted 5 mins and on check out the phone bill was nearly 40euros! Wow.
We had a quick bite in the restaurant for dinner..it was pretty much average. If you just want a snack or small fare, outside of the hotel to the left is a big mall with many other food options.
Breakfast was good though.

I stayed at this hotel for one night, and the service was good. The staff at the reception are really helpful and the room was spacious compared to european standards. They have an indoor pool which is lovely, but i never got a chance to use it.

The nearest metro station is 500m away, within a residential area. It is easy to get lost at night while trying to make your way to the hotel from the metro station. I would recommend taking a train to the airport and catching the free hotel shuttle from there. I would not recommend this hotel for travellers wanting to visit central Madrid.

Don't know really where to begin this one...
Let's start with the location....basically at the airport so nothing to see except the nearby shopping mall. Then when I got the room and after unpacking all my stuff I found used condoms in the garbage can and the toilet seat was burned with cigarettes....so after complaining I got a free upgrade of course. Then when I tried to connect to the internet they screwed something up so I had to talk to their provider swisscom to solve it....and then again the next day same thing...
There is no serving of anything in the pool area, which otherwise was ok.
Also there was no slippers and bath robe so I had to call for it, then of course I only got slippers so I had to call again for the bath robe....
The lunch buffe was at best mediocer so no plus points there either. Also no prep of the room during the evening. Then also some banging was going on from 10am in the morning from an adjecent room so no long sleep in the morning. Windows all over the hotel were not clean....
What was good though was the service at the reception. They were always ready to help you out with shuttle etc.
All in all it's a good looking hotel with poor service, no attention to detail, but willing to fix the problems.
