“Good food, wild decorations”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 May 2014

We tried this after reading about it in a DK travel book and ate at the bar. The tapas were good and so were the drinks. The decorations make it nore than just an average tapas joint. So many things to see, its just fun. Locals were friendly.

“Really Friendly!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 April 2014

Busy tapas area the front may lead you to think the place was full! There is a nice, small area at the rear with dining tables. The staff were so friendly and helpful in the choice of food. We were really impressed by the plate of ham as well as a mix of selections between the four of us. Can't wait to go back!

“Have a beer and tapas at the counter”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 March 2014

Two visits. Standing in the small front bar just taking in the eclectic mix of bullfighting/ skeltons/ picasso etc at the front; pointing to the tapas that takes your fancy with a small beer- thats the way to do this bar. Our second visit felt not so good sitting down in small table area at the back as too busy up front. Less atmosphere and for six of us it felt expensive and we were disappointed. Make your own mind up though Worth going to the bar and seeing how you feel in there

“Are they baby eels?”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 March 2014

Stumbled in here as the other up the road (no name dropping here) was too crowded. Service was not really forthcoming. Eventually managed to order a bread slice topped with aioli and greasy baby eel looking things. Though not sure if they are baby eels (anyway would be pretty hard to catch, and unsustainable to say the least). Quaffed with a glass of sweet steely local white.
Despite the greasy so-so-ness, and vinegary olives - it's not a bad experience all round, atmospheric, though not exactly cutting edge.

“Average and overpriced.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 January 2014

Reasonable selection of tapas in very small bar, truly a place to walk in, have a drink or two with a couple of tapas admire the Interesting decor and move on. The actual bar and tapas display was too small to be able to get near to when there are more than six people inside and therefore we had to rely on one of the two disinterested, unmotivated, inefficient and decidedly unfriendly waitresses which really did not work too well. Not good value at all, in fact overpriced. Better to go to the excellent La Dolores 20 metres away.
