“Traditional italian pizza”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 July 2013

To my experience, it is the best traditional napolitan pizza in Madrid...in a traditional tratoria atmosphere.

The other dishes are OK, but I recommend only ordering pizzas.

All pizzas are made with fresh mozzarella and that's what makes the difference.

“a welcomed break from spanish food!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 June 2013

After getting tired of fried tapas and salty spanish meals, Pulcinella was a welcomed meal! Be sure to ask for no salt (which they translate to less salt). We didn't care for the tricolore salad (it unexpectedly came with tuna fish on it), but we truly enjoyed our pasta dishes--the stracciatella a la norma and the pizza margherita were delicious! I would advise you ask for descriptions of EVERY dish you are going to order, because surprise ingredients that aren't in the descriptions on the menu appear in every dish! Also, be sure to check out the shops in Chueca around the restaurant while you are there-very SoHo like. It was a nice break from the tourist gift shops!

“Excellent food and superb service!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 April 2013

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Madrid.
You're always greeted with a smile, and the service is top-notch.
The food is amazing, I have tried a lot of different stuff and its always great quality.
The Tiramisu is heavenly! Must try!
Would definitely recommend this place as one of the best Italian restaurant in town...

Wonderful Italian food, waiters who were genuinely Italian and very friendly & free limoncello after the meal. Will definitely be back.

“Very good Italian food in an informal atmosphere”

This is a bit like a school canteen but they have probably the best pizza in Madrid.
