We have visited last weekend. We took advantage of the special offer of getting the 2nd day free. Also when i was purchasing the tickets i asked about the height restrictions and was told that minimum hight for ALL slides in the park is 120 cm so our 4 year old would be able to go on any of them- i wasnt too happy so the cashier gave us a further discount. That made it a good value for 2 days of many hours of fun.
The water on all pools is very pleasantly warm . You can hire the floats to go on the slides or you can just queue up to use the ones already there- clearly it is much quicker if you dont have to queue to borrow a float. The queues were minimal for all slides- we went on a Sunday and the longest queue was about 5 people in front of us. That meant we really spent all day going down the slides instead of queuing . As our 4 year old couldnt join us on the slides we ended up taking turn in looking after her in the kiddies pool and the lazy river. She seemed perfectly happy with that and she also had a lovely time. The other nice thing about the park is that is open until 8 pm.
The Zoo isnt massive but it is nicely laid out so you actually do get to see the animals. We went to see the Sea Lion show which was a lot of fun especially for out little one.
There are picnic areas in the park so you can bring your own food and drink which makes it much cheaper. I just put 3 bottles of water in the freezer and those kept our picnic food nice and cool until we were ready to eat it.
There is a car park just across the road from the park which is free so dont pay the 3 euros for parking at the water park itself.
What would make this park 100% perfect for us would be if smaller kids were allowed on the slides (like they are in France for example if accompanied by an adult) but other than that i cannot fault it. If you read the reviews you are prepared for the fact that you have to pay to hire sun beds or the floats etc- but none of that is compulsory. Food probably is overpriced like in all theme/water parks but just bring your own to keep the cost down. And actually if you get the special offer of 2nd day free then 80 euros for 2 days for family of 4 as we have paid works out 10 euro per person per day- that is a bargain in my books.

We visited the park in August on our holiday. This had been recommend by another holiday maker. We had a lovely day, the slides accommodated both my 6 and 12 year olds. They also enjoyed the pools. But the best bit of the day was them swimming with sea lions. This had was advertised at 20 euros each, but at the pay desk we where told we could have 3 people for 40 euros. This was on top of the entrance fee but well worth it. This lasted for 45 minutes in which they got to touch the sea lion as it swam amongst them and be involved with some of the tricks. We took a picnic and there is a picnic area with lots of tables. We didn't get to go round the zoo as we had so much fun in the water park. The tickets allow you to come back the next day for no extra cost, which is great value for money. But unfortunately we where near the end of our holiday and had run out of time. I would say this is a must for anyone staying near by.

A great waterpark and zoo all in one location in the centre of of Mucia near the university.
The park offers a great value here day return ticket for the price of one!
The zoo is great and the animals appear happy there.
The slides are great for all who are 120cm or taller. A real great day put for families and a must if in the area.
Swim with sea lions, fun all round.
Food is normal fried stuff and a tad expensive so a tip would be take your own.
Other than that, go its great....

I find it difficult to find fault with the place. Great little zoo with a wide range of animals, emphasising the educational and conservation aspects, teamed with a fantastic water park.

You should try to make the feeding times, if possible, and do the zoo part first when it's cooler, as you will see more activity.

The bears are gorgeous and the lemurs and otters are cute. We also loved stroking the goats and deer. You get very close to everything.

I was mildly disappointed by the size of some of the enclosures and the sea lion show could be better but you can see everything is well maintained.

We ate lunch at the air-conditioned canteen near the water park. While a little expensive (€9 for main inc. dessert amd drink), the food was tasty and fresh with a wide choice (chicken, lamb, paella, salads, nuggets, chips, rice, etc.). There are also cheap burger places and a classy restaurant near the lions (€25 adults/€10 kids).

The kids loved the slides and pools for 3 hours, although I spent the hottest part of the day in the Lunatic Express bar.

Sure, it's not cheap but it was within our expectations and I struggle to understand why other reviewers are surprised.

Lovely little Zoo/Waterpark in Murcia. you get a consecutive day free entry with the ticket. The zoo is pleasant with plenty of opportunity to feed the animals. The waterpark is quite small, but has a lazy river, a play pool and a baby pool.
as well as some slides for those taller than 120 cm. It also has sea lion shows. Ideal for young and slightly older children.

We weren´t impressed with the food in the water park cafeteria, but the Carnivore restaurant in the zoo serves really nice food. It has the added bonus of huge windows looking in to the lions area.
