The casino itself is nothing that special... however, it is VERY well preserved and presented. It takes about 40 min. to take the whole tour, $3 entrance fee and it includes an audio guide. nicely done.
When we went, there were a few employees of the casino, a couple of members hanging around and one other tourist couple except us. Not sure what the experience would be if it was during the summer and crowded; there isn't much space for too many people, especially if you are listening to he audio guide and there are other people (or kids) speaking around you.
It is allowed to take pictures (no flash though).
