I don't know if we caught it not functioning properly or it is usually like that but... the first time i see a church with so many grids in it, like in prison.

It was circular, in the middle of the church there were some benches and around it, these small sanctuary-like spaces - but we couldn't get near them to see what 's in them, very poor lightening, a lot of grids, not good experience. It struck me as odd. I couldn't figure out if it is operating church or just a museum which is not quite open.

The Cathedral sits impressively within the centre of Murcia surrounded by a plaza where you can sit, eat and drink. The surrounding buildings are a mixture of old and modern which compliment each other. The outside of the Cathedral is very impressive and a walk around the inside is well worth the visit.

The exhibition part was not that interesting but it's worth having a look around the grounds of the actual Cathedral to see all it's different phases and uses from over the years.

Big cathedral with several side chapels. Nothing too exceptional though and all the info was in Spanish.

We did not visit the museum as it didn't look so big and it was too expensive (because a lack of English info, we would have had to take an audio guide and double our entry price).
