We saw this place on You Tube and although the atmosphere is there it looks a little tired. The food and staff were OK but nothing to write home about.

Had dinner last night. Menu El Dias with wine 40 euros. Good service and lovely pork knuckles. Not exactly Ramsays but very enjoyable.

I have travelled through spain many times during the 30 years and have mistakenly recommended this place to others. The last couple of times I've been there found the food to be bad, the waiters rude and refused to stamp my friends pilgrims card. Don't go there. Over priced and tacky. I'm from the uk and met some Americans that thought the same. Met some catalans that thought the same. There are many restaurants and bars nearby...only go for the photo..

We went there were for lunch after a 3 hour visit to the cathedral. The ambience and decor were very good, the menu del dia varied and the range of dishes we chose from it well cooked, nicely presented and tasty. The tinto de casa was very acceptable and the service overall was good.

It's a beautiful place with fantastic atmosphere. An iconic place in the perfect location by the square. Staff is efficient, food is good, coffee is good and a great beer on tap. What more could you wish for to spend a relaxing afternoon, inside and outside!
