Our hotel recommended this restaurant to us. Luckily for us, they had an available table due to people preferring to watch the Man U vs FC Barcelona game that night instead of eating. Lucky us, indeed! The staff definitely took care of us. The sommelier provided us with some fantastic glasses of local wine from Navarra. Our waitress was excellent even with our poor Spanish. And the food was fantastic!! My wife and I had the winter vegetable stew as a starter. While we had that, the manager brought out some samples from other parts of the menu (white ham with black truffle and roasted Navarran peppers). Both of those were so good. If only we could have fit another two courses!! They also gave us this wonderful red wine salt with local olive oil that combined with their bread was so amazing. For the entrees, we ordered the salt cod with lobster and the roast suckling pig confit. Wow such flavors!! The suckling pig was especially impressive as they reconstituted the pork confit into a steak that they roasted. Oh . . That crispy pork skin!! It was fabulous. The desserts looked great but we unfortunately had no room left. What a great meal that was. It was only after the meal that we realized what a great restaurant this was based on the other reviews and what an opportunity that we had lucked into just because of this football game.
