Six of us stayed for Four days in November. We all had rooms on same floor as requested, Ane and Elaine are so helpful and friendly from the minute you enter the hotel until you leave. Bar staff are all friendly,.... entertainment mostly dancing not for me........but plenty in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. Dining Room had changed quite a bit since my last visit but still very nice... the team in the dining room always have a smile and so friendly.....always a great choice of food. All Servigroup Hotels I have stayed in are good .......Calypso is my favourite !!!!! ...........third visit and going back in March..............We all had a fab time..

Room Tip: Rooms at front of Hotel if you want to watch the action, Rooms at the back overlooking pool, quiet a...

The Hotel had excellent, friendly, polite staff who were always great assistance. The hotel is clean and the food is Devine, there is nothing you cannot have. The pool is a comfortable size and the pool entertainment put on by the hotel was excellent. The rooms were very good.

This was the first time we have stayed in this hotel and i would certainly stay there again. The staff were great especially the waiters on a night time. Miguel was a lovely man and made us laugh all the time. You never have to wait long for them to come and replenish your drinks and they never forget your order. There is entertainment on every night. Be it dancing for the guests, flamenco dancing, duo's singing or just listening to the music if you want to. If you don't want to dance, you don't have too. Half the enjoyment is watching other people enjoying themselves. The food is excellent. For breakfast you can a cooked breakfast or a continental or both. They have cereals, porridge (which is divine) and fresh fruit etc. There are plenty of toasters (the big ones) so you don't have to stand for ages waiting for your toast and plenty of tea/coffee machines. Various juices as well as water is also available. We stayed bed/breakfast & evening meal. The food on an evening was superb. There was always plenty of choice and the meat and fish were freshly cooked in front of you. There was plenty of salad and vegetarian choices. We even had roast beef and yorkshire puddings one day. The rooms were spacious, and clean. There was a wash basin, toilet, bidet, bath & shower in our room and the hotel was quiet on a night when we were there. We stayed at the hotel the first week in November 2013. It was too cold to go into the pool but the weather was hot enough, that if you wanted to sit around the pool you could do.
As i said, really can't fault it. I would say that it is a hotel for the more older holiday maker rather than for the 18-30 holiday maker.
There are other hotels within the Servigroup in Benidorm that you can use exactly the same.
You get a card for your room key and you use this to use the toilet facilities downstairs and to get to the outside smoking area if you are a smoker. Having this card for a key means that no one from outside can come into the hotel and use the facilities, which i think is a good thing.
Once again, if you're looking for a good hotel in Benidorm, give this one a try. It's near enough to the sea front and about a 20-30 minute wall to the old town, depending on how many coffee shops you stop in.

Room Tip: ask for a room overlooking the pool as this is off the main road

we have stayed at this hotel several times over the past few years, twice & sometimes three times a year, the location is good for bars & shops & Wednesday/Sunday market is only 5 min walk away. The rooms are comfortable but could do with lick of paint although they are very clean. The annex was having a refurb when we was there.

We have stayed in this hotel many times before but this was a return visit after 5 years. Very little has changed. Some redecorating and the restaurant has been modernised but the service, food, rooms and public areas remain excellent. The cleanliness throughout is impeccable. The drinks are two for one all day and night 7 days a week. The rooms are spacious with a safe (payable locally), a small fridge, plenty of clothes storage and comfortable beds. If you want a sunny balcony ask for a room over the front entrance or over the fountain. We always go out of season so the pool is too cold but it looks impressive. Not sure what the evening entertainment is like in Summer but out of season many clients are senior citizens and the entertainment is mainly low key associated with ballroom dancing. That should not put younger couples off as the location is great for the beach, promenade and shows. I don't think it is suitable, however, for hen or stag parties.

Overall it is amazing that the excellent standards have been maintained for so long. Well done!

Room Tip: Rooms at the back are quieter, rooms at the front have a sunny balcony.
