My wife and I have stayed in various Servigroup hotels before as well as the Nereo. When we arrived we were allocated the high floor overlooking the pool that we requested ( its in the sun all day).
All the staff are friendly and go about there jobs with smiles on their faces.
The thing that spoiled our holiday was the Dining area. It has had an overhaul that has seen the tables with tablecloths and comfy chairs replaced by white plastic tables and chairs giving the feel that you are sitting in a canteen, with no atmosphere, instead of a hotel restaurant. People were allowed to come into the evening meals with shorts/swim trunks with flip flops/sandals (no socks).
On the Sunday evening at the buffet there was Roast Pork or Roast Beef with all the vegetables. We went to the chef to have our meat cut for us and then went to get our vegetables only to find that the potatoes had run out. We stood with other guests waiting for a waitress to bring more out. After a considerable wait she appeared with chips saying there were no more potatoes only chips. By this time our meat had got cold. This was 8.15 when the food trays should be full. What a Sunday roast, no potatoes, only chips.
My wife makes an effort to look nice when going for dinner but the dining experience gave us the impression that the hotel does not really care.

With reference to your comments regarding the changes made in our restaurant, we would like to inform you that Servigroup Hotels has made a decision to incorporate a more hygienic and eco-friendly practice in its hotels by incorporating individual place mats which can be cleaned by using non-toxic cleaning products, whilst offering at the same time a more practical and modern feel to the restaurant but most importantly saving on the usage of water.

We have also passed your comments regarding your Sunday evening meal onto our catering department and do apologise if you were disappointed with the type of potato served.

None the less we were sorry to hear that this stay with us did not meet with your expectations, but do value your opinions as this enables us to improve the services we offer , and do hope you will continue to use Servigroup hotels in the future.

I stayed in many hotels in Benidorm until I visited the Nereo. I would now stay at no other hotel, the food is great with a very wide and varied menu. The reception staff is so helpful especially Karen and Josa. The hotel is in a great position close to the beach and the indoor and outdoor markets, the indoor market just opposite is a good place to look for gifts if the weather a bit off one day. The bar is a good place to meet friends and the 2 for 1 offers are great . It is best to book through the hotel for the best offers on rooms and prices.

we have been staying in servigroup hotels in Benidorm for years and the standard has always been excellent. the cleanliness is a credit to the staff everything is always spotless. we were lucky and stayed on the top floor with big double bed and walk in shower, I hope they make more rooms like this. we have read some of the comments regarding the new restaurant layout but we soon got used to it, the food and attention from the restaurant staff was great. the overall package offered for the price is very very good.

I have used the Nereo many times over thepast few years and have been highly satisfied.ihave just booked another stay for 3 weeks , booked with jet2 package .imade a request for the top floor if possible.The Nereo has always been able to fulfil this request when possible .Ihave rung Nereo about my request to be told that because I have booked a package holiday with jet2 Iwould need to pay 420 euros (21 days@20euros).It is not charged if booked direct with the hotel.Jet2 and other travel agents are not aware of this recent charge so beware if you request the top floorat the Nereo

A few days into a months stay,and cannot agree with a lot of comments previously submitted, dining room,yes very different,an soon got used to it,I can appreciate the reasons ,now fresh and modern,all restaurant staff greet me from the manager,and all his staff,all smiling and never fail to speak.The food is varied,and the grilled fish at lunch and dinner as tasty as any upmarket restaurant in the U K, the whole hotel is spotlessly clean,rooms cleaned well daily,for the rates they charge it must be difficult to make high profits, I often wonder what others expect from a superb 3 star hotel.

This is a great friendly hotel. Clean and bright rooms with a fab fridge for your beer and water!
A lovely balcony room overlooking the always clean pool.
Great service from all the staff.
Food lovely and always varied. Breakfast was wow, with porridge and great eggs.
Please note the pool was far too cold to swim in in the WINTER months, shame too as it is so inviting.
Towels in room, fridge and hairdryer all a great help.

Just back from a wonderful holiday at the hotel Nereo. Although we visit Benidorm 4 or 5 times a year this was our first stay at this hotel as we fancied a change from our usual one. We are so pleased we opted for the nereo. We were allocated a gorgeous room on the new 10th floor with fabulous sea views and a walk in shower which made the room perfect. The whole hotel is spotless and all the staff friendly. We will definitely be visiting this hotel again soon! Our new favourite hotel in Benidorm.
