Just returned from a 5 night stay! The hotel was lovely & clean! The staff are friendly & helpful! Had a little hiccup with the safe, although the manager soon rectified the issue & loaned us some euros until we could gain access.
Really good shower & the air con was fantastic! Great location... Couple of minutes walk to the the cove & right by some excellent bars (O'maras, sensations and brief encounter)! Totally perfect!

We were delighted with our choice as it is SO Spanish,,, run by a friendly Spanish family who go the extra distance to make you feel welcome. What a contrast with so many hotels these days that have been taken over by the large hotel chains. Here you get the feeling of genuine personal service.
We stayed for 3 days here on a half-board basis which included breakfast and lunch. The breakfast buffet comprised a very wide spread of choices, with beautifully fresh pastries and bread... and unlike in the hotel chains, fresh, chilled juice... and not disgusting sugary syrups masquerading as juice from a machine. Likewise, the scrambled eggs were tasty and hot unlike the almost inedible offering in most chain hotels.
The lunch was delicious and suitably filling, with table service and a different offering each day. The proprietress apologised to us upon arrival at the hotel that the food served for lunch is typically Spanish and not to the taste of what most Brits in Benidorm are typically known for in the culinary department. We assured her that there was absolutely no need to apologise because we love Spanish food and we were not disappointed. If you don't like Spanish food, we suggest that you don't book the lunch option.
The rooms are clean, bright and modern with good furniture and comfortable beds. The bathroom was very pleasant with a good, well functioning shower and plentiful hot water. There are plenty of sockets for electrical gadgets and the WIFI worked well throughout our stay.
The hotel is located in a narrow traffic-free street close to the little beach end of the Old Town. Access could be a problem for those with walking difficulty. We stayed on the 4th floor in room 404 which we liked very much because the 4th floor rooms have a pleasant terrace with views over the roof tops.

If you are looking for a genuine and rare SPANISH HOTEL experience in the Old Town of Benidorm in preference to the regular offering of Benidorm, then this is the hotel for you!
We would stay here again.

Room Tip: the 4th floor rooms have a nice terrace. If you like Spanish food, the lunch option is good value a...

Cannot recommend this hotel enough. I booked this for a girly weekend away back in May and as always I read the trip advisor reviews before I did so and I was very impressed with the consistency of the reviews so went ahead and booked. It is located in the old town so you can only get so far by cab so if you are a little infirm or have mobility issues I wouldn't say it would be suitable for you. The rooms are beautiful, modern, clean and of a good size. Breakfast was beautiful, excellent choice, attentive staff, I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. Close enough to walk to the square, far enough away to enjoy a bit of rustic Spain with it's tapas bars in the little back streets in which the Rocamar is situated. Book it, you won't be disappointed!

My husband and I had a lovely stay at the Rocamar in July of this year.
The owners Igna and Vincent are lovely and so are their adult children and all staff who work at the hotel. They are all very polite, friendly and helpful.
The cleanliness is amazing. Rooms are airy, modern and clean with the added bonus of a free safety deposit box.
There is the option of eating in the hotel for lunch which we did and it was amazing food at a very reasonable price.
Breakfast was lovely with a great array of different food for you to choose from and various beverages too.
Would definitely stay there again in the Old Town Benidorm as it is lovely, very 'Spanish' and not at all like the New Town Bendiorm which is definitely Britain in the sun.

This is probably the best hotel we have stayed in and for a very reasonable price. We upgraded on arrival to the fourth floor to get a sun terrace for only 4 euros a night more. The room was very modern, clean, and spacious enough for my husband and me. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good with a great range of pastries, breads, meats etc. the location is also great in the old town near lots of bars, which you don't hear in the hotel due to the sound proofing! Plus it's close to all 3 beaches. Our flight was an evening flight home, they let is keep our room until as late as we wanted on the final day at no cost, which was great to get showered before leaving. The rooms have small fridges, air con and also free safes. Will always try to stay here again if we return to benidorm. Would recommend to anyone wanting a quaint, clean, boutique, great location, friendly staff and excellent value for money hotel.

Just returned from a five night stay at the Rocamar hotel. This hotel was in a great location to enjoy the old town and a couple if mins walk to the gorgeous Levante beach. The hotel was clean, rooms spacious and air conditioned, and staff polite and friendly, would definitely stay there again. We stayed on the 3rd floor but would recommend a room on the fourth floor as they have larger balconies with tables and chairs and sunloungers. The hotel roof terrace has Sun loungers tho if you fancy a quite sunbathe. The old town is lovely with loads of shops, tapas bars and bars. Walk along the seafront at night and there are loads of bars to choose from. The new town is definitely worth a visit for a wilder night out! It is walkable but we jumped in a taxi, it was about 6 or 7 euros for four of us.

Room Tip: Worth asking for a room on the fourth floor as some had larger balconies, with tables, chairs and sun...
