“Amazing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 December 2013 via mobile

This hotel deserves a 5 star review. It is immaculate, staff are so nice and friendly. We stayed half board so eat breakfast and dinner. The buffet style was one if the best I have had. The food was amazing. Loads of choices. Plenty fresh fruit and veg. Desert was so good, too much choice everything looked amazing. Freshly squeezed orange juice in the morning.
I honestly do not have a single complaint. Defiantly will go back.

Very stylish boutique hotel with very high standards.Stayed on the eighth floor overlooking uncle Peds, didnt get any afternoon sun as other reviewers have stated but it is mid December. All staff very attententive, especially happy happy Mohammed in the restaurant,he brightens up everyone's day.Food quality very good and always served piping hot.Sitting out area good location and comfortable at front of hotel, only drawback is not enough seating area inside hotel when weather goes cold (we had a day of 12degs).Looked to book again for next year but due to the success of the hotel they have racked up the prices and I'm afraid they will exclude some of there regular clients after all this is only Benidorm not St Tropez

it's the second time we stay in this hotel
everything is perfect although the food is perhaps too much for the English
the personal is always ready to help and we never feel we are only there for one week or more
it's very quiet as it is only for adults
maybe something to ameliorate... too much bingo in the purple room ( after dinner we would appreciate a drink with good music but it's only possible at about 10 o'clock)

Just returned from a weeks stay in this hotel.Check in was quick and easy and we got the room we asked for on 5th floor with (King size double bed) which was very comfy. The room was spacious with plenty room in the wardrobes for clothes etc.It had a great bathroom with walk in shower and always plenty of hot water. We also had a small fridge, but you need to take the shelves out to get your bottles in.The meals at lunch and dinner seemed to be done on the cheap, had problems sometimes trying to find something to eat, never a show cooked roast when we were there.Sweets had a good choice though, loved the fruit crumble and custard.Breakfast was good with plenty choice and freshly squeezed oranges.Found the waiters to be very friendly and polite(happy happy). Can't comment on the entertainment as always went out at night. The weather was awful just 3 mornings of sunshine and really cold,so not much sunbathing.Summing up this is a nice clean hotel and would probably go back in a few years time.

Just returned from one week at the Riviera hotel, it was everything other reviewers have said. all staff were pleasant and hardworking and went about their work in an unobtrusive efficicient fashion.
If we have one criticism it is that there isnt a lounge area especially if the weather is poor. The outside coffee area is lovely when the sun shines and the entertaiment lounge is also good.
The food is excellent especially the breakfasts.
We visited Alicante on the train lovely old town and castle a good climb but a lift is available. We also had a trip to Guadalest by bus a nice afternoon out in the mountains. We also walked up to the cross above Benidorm you can see this illuminated at night, another good climb. altea is also a good day out.

Room Tip: In room 402 which was fine except that there was an electrical hum all the time it may affect some l...

Visited this hotel yet again with friends and found the standards to be just as high as previous visits. The lack of bar space is currently been addressed by an extension which should be open in December,2013.Hopefully once this is completed they will provide better entertainment which at the moment is not very good. Once again my particular thanks to Teo who supplied me with plenty of liquid refreshment with a smile and a laugh. Will definitely be returning.

Just returned from two weeks at the Riviera Beachotel and must say its not as good as last year.Reception staff are smashing, very friendly and efficient.Rooms are OK but a little bit tired now.Food is Ok but lots of stews and cheaper cuts of meat.Excellent orange juice at breakfast and breakfast was the best meal of the day.We were made to feel like second class citizens when we didnt purchase overpriced drinks with our meals and the waiter ( Mr Happy Happy ) would make sarcastic remarks which was very embarassing. The bar outside is very nice with reasonable prices if you are lucky enough to find a seat.Overall We will not be going again next year,I think we will be trying the sister hotel across the road.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with an even number as they get the sun from about 11am-3pm.Odd numbers dont get the...
