We visited this hotel while staying at Magic Aqua Rock Gardens. The hotels are 10 minutes walk apart from each other and are part of the Magic Hotels.
We can only comment on the food, drinks, pool, hotel reception, entertainment, and location.
The food and drinks are very good, lots of choice and plentiful. On one day, one of the staff had a candy floss machine and made candy floss for anyone who wanted one. The pool is good with a small slide. There are plenty of sunbeds. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean.
We visited the hotel once at night time and the entertainment was average(not great, but not bad.
The location is very good. Lots of shops, pubs, restaurants nearby and the beach is only a few minute walk away.

Was great for our family - 5 of us, with 3 kids aged 9 - 13. Pool was great, beach was fantastic. Food options were average but plentiful. Staff very fantastic and very friendly. We hardly speak a work of Spanish, but that was not a problem at all.

What a difference from being at the Villa De Benidorm last June to being there 9th-20th July 2013
Rooms were very clean and well serviced, pool area very clean and well kept plenty of sunbeds to go around for everyone, downside was the pool area did not open until 10.00am which was an hour later than last years opening time. Outside seating area was also very clean but why oh why do the have to come and take the cushions off of the chairs approx 8.00-8.30pm each night.
Bar staff were very friendly and helpful gold card upgrade was included in the cost altho' some people had to go and ask to be upgraded when it should have been included, Food was a disgrace mostly set out to suit the Spanish, a few of us British did complain about the standard of the meals to the manager but nothing was really done to change anything a few of us had to eat out a few times because of the lack of decent food.
Activities for adults during the day were non existent 2 games in 11 days, night time entertainment again was set to suit the Spanish.
Used to like this hotel but I am afraid we will not be going back there again

We stayed at the Magic Villa for 3 nights from 21st - 24th June 2013 - there were 6 of us there to celebrate a friends 40th birthday and it was the best hotel we could have hoped for! Check is was painless - quick and easy and we were given Gold AI cards which I didnt even realise I had booked! I had a few queries while we were staying at the hotel and the receptionists were really helpful and polite, even when I am sure I was being irritating!
The bar staff were fantastic - special mention goes to Noor and Juanjo (I think they are spelt right) who always were smiling and friendly when we went to the bar (which was a lot!) and they had a bit of banter with us by the end of our trip so we were actually a little sad to leave.
The food was varied everyday - not michelin star standard but we never expected that so we were really happy with what was on offer and it fulfilled its purpose for us so no complaints there.
The rooms were clean, practical and comfortable which was all we needed and we had rooms together which was what I requested when I booked. We wanted to keep one of the rooms for the last day (as our flight home wasnt until evening) and because I asked about it on the first morning, it cost us €20 for the day and all 6 of us got to keep our AI cards for the full day - brilliant!!
Overall, we had a fab trip and we are in the process of booking to come back in March 2014 for a long weekend for another birthday - see you then Noor Noor Noor!! :-)

We had a good 3 night stay here at the end of June. This is a typical Spanish 3 star hotel in a great location. The hotel does need a refurb as all areas including the bedrooms are tired & crying out for some TLC. There was also something weird going on with the windows which we didn't dare open after we struggled to close them & had to get Juan the maintainance man to sort them out.
The food was ok - Decent quality, but not as much choice as I have seen in many other hotels, but I think this is because it is only a small hotel with much less guests. It was never very busy in the dining room & we always had a choice of tables. Nice toasties.
It was surprising to me to see so many Spanish guests in a hotel in Benidorm & I would say that it was a 50/50 mix of UK & Spanish.
We didn't encounter any hen or stag do's staying at the hotel, however as we were checking in there was a middle aged Scottish woman who was clearly drunk at 10am (not from drinking at the hotel as the bar wasn't open) who retched for a good few minutes then threw up in the middle of reception. Nice welcome! That was the only negative about other guests staying in the hotel.
The bar that is open during the day is quite small with either 1 or 2 staff serving, however they were all very friendly & efficient & never had to wait long for a drink. Noor was a star! The terrace area outside was a great spot for people watching, although we didn't manage to see any of the cast of Benidorm passing by on their way to 'Neptune's'.:(
After reading reviews on here we were a little disappointed not to hear any 'howling vagrants' barking at 6 in the morning??? Maybe next time!
I would return to this hotel after the promised refurbishment has taken place with the hope to see better decor & hear a bit of howling!

Room Tip: Pool view is better.
