I have been to Benidorm 6 times and always try to stay in the villa de Benidorm, Because it's central to everything. I have stayed in this hotel 3 times now and had only one complaint. We had a sofa bed in our room and it is quite dangerous with metal bits sticking out everywhere. My friend kept knocking her legs against the metal bits and had quite a few bruises. Really it would be better if they put a normal size bed in instead of the sofa bed. That is my only complaint. The manager is very helpful as is all the staff. The bar men are really friendly. I alwys have a good time when i come here. Yes it is noisy, But that's what benidorm is , Lively and fun. And if you want peace and quiet, I suggest you go elsewhere. Benidorm will always be a fun town, for lively and fun people. I look forward to going back again next year. Louise Hallas, Batley, West yorkshire, England.

Had a great stay made all the better by carlos the barman who was a brilliant representative for the hotel and who the other staff need to set as a bench mark.
The rooms are very clean but basic and air con could do with an uprade, but hey how much time do you spend there !,great location for all the night spots and close to the beach, pool was super and the day activaties where good, shame about the night time enertianment though.
On the whole a super stay and would return there again.
Ian Welshpool.

my partner an i have just spent a week at the villa bennidorm , part of the magic group, and it was fantastic ,, hotel in great position , service by staff could not be faulted , if stars were awarded by service , it would be a 5 star plus , another plus was the option to use the other hotels in the magic group dotted around bennidorm , which gave a different experience to every one visited , will be returning again very soon thanks ,,,

Just came back from villa de benidorm, had room on 5th floor with good view of pool area. Paid full price for 3 adults in 1 room was advised would be 3 twin beds however 1 was a camp bed. Rooms would definately benefit a balcony. The evening entertainment was non exsistent therefore our free all inclusive drinks could not be used at night as we had to go elsewhere for entertainment. DO NOT visit this hotel in last week of August into first week of September as the hotel is over run by the Spanish and you have to queue out of the restaurant up 2 flights of stairs and into the reception for a table to eat your meal. Also if your in a hurry to get anywhere takes the stairs as you wait ages for a lift

However on the plus side hotel food was fab when you eventually got there, always a variety of different things every night. Air con was excellent and you didnt even have to pay for it. Staff very friendly, especially CARLOS the bar waiter who is a lovely person.

All in all hotel in excellent location, right near the nightlife, beach and restaurants. We would definately recommend visiting Safari Aitana and Terra Mitica. Would defo go back to hotel even if there is prostitutes and tramps outside as they do not harm you.

Despite best effords of the staff this hotel is tired. aircondition definately needs improving we feel the loss of balcony space to squeeze an extra bed into the rooms was a bad move, but by far the fact that prostitutes are plying their trade directly outside the hotel, and alcholic vagrants are living within 6 metres of the main entrance and are using the immediate area as a toilet leaves me to believe that not only the authorities but also the hotel management and Thomas Cook are failing in their duty of care to their clients.

Thank you for your recent review. We appreciate your comments and welcome all customer feedback in our continuous efforts to improve our service to our clients.

We are sorry to hear that you missed a balcony, we have found the idea of having a seating area with a sofa that is also an extra bed to be popular, the hotel has superior rooms with a terrace that are available at a supplement and can be booked through Thomas Cook.

Unfortunately in the current economic climate it is common to see vagrants living in the streets in any town and while we understand is not a pleasant view from the hotel as the park is a public area it is not under our control there is little we can do apart from ensuring that they do not enter the hotel. We are however in contact with the local authorities but unless they are causing a disturbance there is little that the police can do.
