“What an amazing hotel simply the beat”

I have just returned from yet another fantastic week at this hotel. You will not find better staff anywhere in Benidorm from Issabella and her colleagues on reception to Juan the head chef and all of the resteraunt staff prepare the most fantastic food choice it's fab. Then through to Jose the head barman/ waiter what service this man gives along with Edwin at the bar I have now been to this hotel 6 times in 2 years and have booked to return in October.
Raquel the entertainer is wonderful also getting all guests involved in different activities every day and night.
Finally to the general manager Francis he cares so much about his guests and is an amaizing gentleman if you go to benidorm don't go to the rest go to the best the Sandos Monaco

We've just came back yesterday after spending a week at this hotel. It was very good, the rooms were lovely and the hotel was very clean. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The food was ok, not the greatest, but there was always something to eat, even though some nights it was a really odd mix of choice. The nicest food was the roast beef and chocolate pudding with chocolate sauce, and the weirdest things were the sweetcorn next to the sausages, beans and eggs at breakfast, and the grated breakfast cheese to sprinkle on the pasta instead of Parmesan… or maybe it was the strangely titled "Cannibal Pizza". Needless to say, we still loved it all really and all these things just added to the fun and laughter of the holiday!

The hotel was really lively with loads of stag do's and everyone was really chatty and friendly. The hotel entertainment was rubbish though and most people spent the evenings sat in the outside bar drinking all the free alcohol till midnight when it closed. If you go remember, ask at the bar for Edwin's Sexy Cocktail, it's really nice!

Everyone sunbathed round the sun terrace in the morning, and by the pool in the afternoon. The pool got no sun till the afternoon. The pool wasn't anything spectacular, and I think they could have put in something really amazing with the space they had instead of a basic square shaped pool. There were only 3 umbrellas round the pool and sun terrace, and many people complained about that, as 3 umbrellas between over 500 people didn't go down well. So, we spent quite a few days at the beach where they had tons of umbrellas for 4 euros a day.

The spa pools were ok but a bit small, the mood lighting and turkish baths/stream room were very nice. It's 10 euros to use the spa and 1.50 for a hat, which they make you wear.

The location is excellent, 2 streets away from the beach and promenade, and right in the middle of the old and new town. Just head to the beach front and turn right to go to the old town and left for the new town.

The new town consists of "The Strip" and "The Square" - typical streets full of clubs and bars, like you'd find in Magaluf or at Veronicas in Playa Las Americas. Streets lined with touts trying to get you in their bars offering free shots or a free cocktails. Loads of Sticky Vicky type acts. It was very tacky and a bit rough and I think myself and my friend outgrew all that since we were teenagers. After 2 nights of the scent of vomit and drunken sweaty men, we decided enough was enough and headed to the old town.

The old town is really nice, makes you feel like your really in Spain, with winding cobbled streets, cafes and really nice quaint bars and shops everywhere. We went to see some drag acts and comedy shows, as well as lots of shoe shopping! The Tapas bars were great but a bit pricey. It's very lively at night and packed with people, really nice with tons of atmosphere and you can still have a good night out there till the early hours.

All in all we wish we were still there and can't wait to go on holiday again! We really enjoyed it.. the sun, the hotel, the people, the beach front and the old town!

We were very impressed with the customer service in this hotel-the staff really are fantastic, from the kitchen to the bar staff, they offer exceptional standards. As a family holiday, the location is perfect, really close to the beach and the quaint, old-quarters of Benidorm, far removed from the popular perception of this resort. Just take a right on the promenade and you are only 10 minutes away from the old town centre, a typical Spanish town which is perfect to wander around in the evening. We liked the all-inclusive aspect of the hotel, as it offered high standards of food/drinks and took the hassle out of finding suitable places to eat every evening. Stay at this hotel, you won't be disappointed

This hotel has recently been rebuilt and it shows, lovely bedrooms and bathrooms with excellent maid service, the dining room is airy but has the usual problem of the food being luke warm served on cold plates, the food itself is good with a reasonable selection, a microwave is available.
We stayed over fiesta time, the hotel was very busy, as was the bar. I must admit i have never tasted brandy that tastes of sweet sherry before, and the vodka must have had an alcoholic value of nil so we hardly used the bar, was a waste of money. Interestingly the following week the hotel filled with lots of Spanish and the brandy suddenly tasted like brandy again....how strange !
We would go back because of its central location and bedrooms but not all inclusive, plenty of cheaper bars in the nearby old town
