We like Benidorm's entertainment so this location was ideal, right in the heart of it. OK, we did trade location for a littlle noise from the street at night, but itr wasn't too bad and certainly did not spoil a good night sleep. The hotel is virtually faultless, beautiful setting, CHEAP DRINKS AT THE BAR - thats new for a hotel! A great restaurant with backgound music - a larger variety of dishes could have been made available but it was really good food and replaced with freshly cooked even before the containers are empty so nothing is just warm. For night owls like my family , an option to have a coffee and croissant from the bar instead of breakfast would have been more convenient for us. Antonio the manager really runs the restaurant well. Rooms kept spotlessly clean every day. Lots of spare electricity outlets all around the room was very convenient as was the free wifi in the room, not just in reception. The use of the sister hotel's Spa was one of the best 6 euros I have spent with spa, sauna, gym, plus, plus, plus! In all, the hotel was perfect in every way - EXCEPT - no full length mirror in the room which was annoying for the 2 females in our group. The only full length mirror was in the lift! So we had to use the lift to go down just 1 floor so that they could use the mirror. When I mentioned it to reception I was told "thats always the complaint from ladies". But other than that, it was a superb hotel and we will return - definitely.

Room Tip: We had a room on the first floor facing a side road and there was a little noise but not a problem...

Just back after 12 days at Presidente.Had a fab time. Great hotel, lovely staff and on the whole a good choice of food.
I had not been to Benidorm since 1981 and thoroughly enjoyed it, so much so that I have just priced it for next year and intend going back to the Presidente as it is in a brilliant location. Can't comment on the pool as the beach was so nearby and beautiful that we ended up there every day. Comedy club downstairs had some really good acts and 25% discount too for residents. Queen tribut called One Vision are absolutely fantastic and I'm not even a Queen fan. We went to see them several times, also Sister Act and Copy Cats were great too. Little pub straight accross the street, on the corner called Las Orcas is a cracking wee place , cheap and very friendly. Another nice wee place is about 3 doors or so from there, a little cafe bar at Trebol Apartments and they do gorgeous baguettes at fab prices. I would also recommend Talk of the Town around the corner from the hotel. Every night at 11.15 there is a group called The Fantastics and that is what they are. Motown and soul for 45 minutes and they make you want to dance. Can't believe how cheap Benidorm is compared to Portugal. We spent half of what we normally spend there every year and I can,t wait to return next year. Will be going back to Presidente.

Room Tip: Chhose room witha pool view. wew were in roon 838 and didn't get disturbed by noise at night.

How can anyone complain at £32 per person per night on full board (and yes the food is actually decent!)? The staff are attentive, hotel is very centrally located, it is clean and well run. Pool very clean and plenty of space and sun bed in the pool area. Try it - you might be really surprised.

i stay in this hotel one time. But i dont think is the last one. The food is very nice. And the hotel is situated in a good area. Near of the beach. And in the middle of everything. And you have the comedy club down stairs. You can watch comedians like jimmy bright. Very funny man. Ant they anounce outside crissy rock from thw 11th of agoust.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 days on a HB basis.

We were a large group and were suitably impressed at the location as everything we wanted was within short walking distance.

Check in was swift and we were conveniently situated in the ground floor room nearest to reception. The double doors to the corridor and the room door ensured we could not hear any outside noises. Ours (Room 119) did not face the pool and actually faced Jokers nightclub but I was surprised that we were not kept awake at night.

Whilst the water power from the tap was poor, the a/c was in full working order, and, so to, the shower after a bit of fiddling.

I never pay the exorbitant fees for hiring a room safe and always take my portable safe which, as expected, easily attached to the room safe to protect my belongings. Feel free to message me about this as I was extremely cynical before I purchased the safe a few years back, but, at £8, it has more than paid for itself in saved hotel safe hire fees.

The food choice at all 3 meals times was akin to typical all inclusive in a 3 star hotel so was perfectly adequate for our groups needs. Taking a bag in with you should help you smuggle a little fruit from breakfast for later too.

Whilst drinks were available, 1.50 Euros for a small 330ml bottle of water was relatively expensive, especially when the nearest supermarket, immediately opposite reception sold 1.5 litres for 80 cents. Better still, pontoon a small bottle before you head to the restaurant.

The pool area was quite boisterous and was quite full. There did seem to be lots of English kids there despite the summer hols not yet started, but, then again, the attitude of the single parent/grandparent accompanying them and their relaxed view of the childrens foul languages gives you a taster of where some typical Brits holiday!

The WiFi worked excellently at all times, aside from the restaurant which was effectively at underground level. It worked well in our room, the indoor bar area and the pool bar area too.

Poolside cleanliness was poor however with many discarded plastic glasses, beer bottles, crisp packets, etc, strewn about the place.

All in all, a good base, but not somewhere for the faint hearted. Then again, its Benidorm, so what do you expect?

Room Tip: Any room with a 1 prefix is on the ground floor and the flimsy lock on the patio door could easily b...

We went to the presidente on the 7th of july for a week and had a fantastic time . we both loved the hotel, they gave us a pool room without even asking and at no charge, we found all the staff very happy and friendly but best of all was the superb location of the hotel. it is in the heart of everything and anything you wanted to do, dine out, watch a show, beach and numerous clubs and bars . The hotel has a very pleasant and tasty restaurant with some lovely food and a decent choice. i thought breakfast was good with a full english available if you wanted it inc black pud , fried bread and good english sausage and decent bacon. The pool is nice and we never had a problem getting a bed if you surfaced and went down before 9.30 ish. There was also an excellent terrace bar where you could watch the world go by while having a beer and a "spitfire" bar next door with bands on.The hotel also has a comedy club underneath with some very good bands and comics. all in all a good choice for a entertaining , chilled out week .

Room Tip: pool rooms are quiet if you want a good nights sleep or return to the hotel early rather than the sm...
