Very good hotel, room in main hotel building was of an excellent standard and appeared to have been recently refurbished. Good location and handy for beach and new town.
Communal areas very nice and good facilities.
Indoor pool was unfortunately out of service for the entire week of our stay due to maintenance, however the outdoor pool area is excellent with plenty of sunloungers, tables and chairs.
My only criticism of this area is that whilst they have signs clearly stating that Sunloungers cannot be reserved, staff do not enforce this policy.
Food was ok, nothing too special but given the price of the half-board stay was so cheap we didn't mind eating out regularly and giving the hotel food a miss.
Bar prices a little expensive compared to other pubs on resort.

All in all a great hotel, fully recommended

We travelled as a family of four (two boys aged 15 & 12). Not looking for anything other than two weeks in the sun. We had exhausted the All Inclusive options so this time booked as half board guests.
Our family room was housed in one of the annexe buildings away from the main tower. Quite happy about this since the annexes were low rise so we were able to enjoy the balcony etc without suffering nose bleeds from the height! The room itself was extremely basic - in fact they could do with a bit of a makeover! The shower was pretty pathetic - and the toilet reguarly got blocked (but seemed to remedy itself eventually!) In its favour - there was a basic air conditioning unit in the room which was very welcome when temperatures were hitting 42 degrees!
The restaurant offered the usual buffet fayre: something for everyone - but leaning more towards Spanish clientele. Breakfast was chaos - no chance of "coming to" slowly and quietly - although the food itself was OK. Dinner was OK too - but eyebrows were raised at the "show cooking" counter - often offering raw undercooked meat! When we chose to eat out of an evening - we were able to swap from dinner to lunch - which was a kind gesture on the hotels part.
The reception staff were a mixed bag - one female receptionist in particular would have benefited from a customer care course. I'm sure she knew I was onto her as she covered up her name badge every time I approached her! In fairness, we had a 3 hour delay on our arrival - (3am!!) and the night receptionist offered us tea/coffee and snacks.
The entertainment was a bit lost on us - however, British guests were in the minority - so they played to the majority of guests. But then in Benidorm there is no shortage of entertainment.
The pools were good - also offering an indoor pool which provided a bit of shade when needed. On the subject of which - it would be helpful to have more sun shades around the pool.
With hindsight, I think we would have been better off in a self catering apartment since the bars and restaraunts in Bendiorm were competetive and you could eat out quite cheaply. Lots of bars also offering 2-for-1 on drinks all night.
Would I recommend this hotel? Not really - same old...

Myself and daughter stayed here 20th July for 11N were given ground floor in Block 2. Was a little concerned when walked in as seemed dated and dingy but as days went by it was ok and handy for the pool and was cleaned properly. The only downside to a ground floor was that we did get (to my daughters horror) cockroaches, but i informed reception and they came and cleaned room again and squirted spray about and left me a tin which worked if you sprayed before went out on evening, so if concerned ask for main hotel room or a higher room in the blocks! The hotel is 80% spanish which didnt bother me although I was shocked how ignorant and greedy they can be! We always got a sunbed and often seen some still available at 9.30. Pool was always clean and plenty of space as the spanish seem to disappear at 1ish and come back down 3-4ish, no lilos are allowed in pool although lifeguard turned a blind eye to rubber rings sometimes! Couldnt find any fault with hotel food, we were half board and never had to queue for meals and always found everything cooked properly and there was plenty of choice. All hotel staff were friendly and helpful so I would recommend this hotel to anyone and it is in an ideal location! The hotel is in the process of refurbishing the annexe blocks so hopefully should be complete by next year.

We had requested a room high up, in main building because we were 4 females alone. When we checked in however, we were told that all the rooms in the main block were taken & we had one in an annex. Then we asked to have 2 rooms near to each other and were told only ground floor left. We were dismayed to find a tiny room with a huge wall looming over our terrace and the only power point in the bathroom!
A couple of days into our stay a group of about 30 Welsh stags arrived, and 3 were put in the room next to ours!. We were sexually intimidated by them, banging on our door when they came in at 5 a.m. They were very noisy generally. Surely single-sex parties should be kept separate? A little planning by the management and they could have had their own annex block. We learned next day that the police had been called & given them a warning.
The pool area was never cleaned during the week we were there, the paving was filthy and we saw cockroach. There were not enough sunbeds, and the house rule of not reserving them was never enforced. We only managed to get beds one day, only because I went down at 7 a.m. to put towels out- if you can't beat 'em etc...something we hate having to resort to.
The plus side was that the food was excellent, and the staff were very obliging.
The hotel needs to refurbish the annex blocks, make the 'double' rooms into singles, and improve the cleanliness of the pool area.Until that happens there's no way we will be going back there.
