“One of the best in Benidorm”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 August 2009

I stayed in this hotel several times. The last visit (so far) was in august 2009. And I'm sure I will return the next time I visit Benidorm.
From the busstation (Benidorm shuttle Airport) it's a 10 min. walk to the hotel. A taxi can take you in 4 minutes for 4 euro.
The lobby of the hotel is luxe, spacy and the reception has a professional staf that does speak English very well.
Check-in is quick and the rooms are very clean and big enough to stay for 2 - 3 people. The bathroom is spacious but not very modern.
The breakfast is buffet and there is enough to choose.
The hotel has their own swimming pool but it's very small. But I think when going to Benidorm you rather spend your day at the beach.
Victoria has a great spa and fitness. If you like a massage take a complete massage for 40 euro. It's very good!
The whole hotel has WiFi internet and it's for free. You can use a computer from the hotel, but you have to pay with coins.
Take a room at the top of the building, you get a real nice view over the center.
Take a walk to the center or the beach, it's just a few minute walk.
I have not taken any food in the restaurant becouse there are just too many places where you can eat in Benidorm.
Remember that there is no animatoin in this hotel. So at night you have to go out if you wanna have some fun.

Stayd at the Victoria from 16th june till 27th and absolutly Loved it ! I say Loved it when we arrived i never thought i'd be writing this reviews saying how good it was because on checking in we were told are room wasn't ready so had to wait around feeling very tired and grubby having been up since 3am! We waited 40 mins which isnt good but then once into the room is well worth the wait! Room very big and amazingly cool , great air con and even had a shutter on the balcony doors to block the sun out! Loved it ! Me and my friend are personal Trainers so we booked knowing they had a gym and we would use if was good , the gym was fantastic! Good size and everything you need for chest ,arms ,back, shoulders! Top stuff! But the biggest praise for this hotel was the foof usually when we go away and last three years stayd at the plaza hotel next door we have been bit dissapointed with the food , but this hotel was awesome every night of the 11 we was there! Steaks , chicken , fish , all great ! They had a sunday roast 2 nights we was there and i must of had 3 x meals! It was that good ..on other reviews how people can say the food isn't good here must be crazy. I eat out at all the top restuarants in manchester with my wife and pay over £100 a time so i know good food and this was very good food. All in all its a 10/10 for me ..Great location near ramons bar ,alsation ,witches bistro , Will be back in 2010 if im allowed by the wife. Please go here u won't regret it . Adios victoria - I'll be back ...

from my meoerys of this hotel it excceed everyone of my expectations. i travelled over to benidorm with my grandparents for my 18th birthday. when we got there we stayed before so we think that the reception area is modern, clean and totally excellent. when we went to check in we were told we had to wiat for our room to be ready, so we put our luggage in the luggage room and killed a few hours. after we came back n still werent ready which we got a bit miffed at, at that moment the person on reception desk rang up. after he sed it was ready. we were put on the 17TH FLOOR 1707. even though we were annoyed at how long we had to wait for it it all disappered within an instant once we got in the room. it was massive as if to occupy a family of 8. we had a large living room with a double in, next to it was two singles and a bathroom. we had two balconies coming of on the front and cos we were on the side we had a big terrace with table and chairs and 3 sunbeds. we thoguht we got sent to the wrong room. the big point was EVERYTHING WAS CLEAN AND TIDY AND MODERN. nothing was broke.
the resturant is brilliant with excellent food and very friendly waiterswhom i speak to everytime i stop their.
there is no nosie problems or anything just everything was spot on.
want to go back so badly would reccommend it to anyone.
anyone any questions bout it or benidorm just ask me

Decided on Hotel Victoria after seeing comments on Trip Advisor. Hotel was clean and in ideal location but pool area was in desperate need of some TLC. Most of the sunbeds were broken but luckily not many people used the pool area so managed to get a sunbed when needed. The pool bar was never open during our stay (maybe not in high season yet). The rooms were clean and spacious but needs an extractor fan in the bathroom as soon steams up with no windows to open. We only stopped bed and breakfast and I am glad, as the food was poor. The choice was limited, even for the continental breakfast and the orange juice was just watered down orange squash. The staff were very slow to clear tables and relay them, every morning we had to set out own table and it was not particulary busy.

With Benidorm , i think you either love it or hate it.Apart from the Old Town and of course the people , it hardly ranks as a typical spanish town.Even the old town is host to english bars and cafes and bars run by people from the UK.That said it boasts superb beaches and usually wall to wall sunshine -but even Benidorm has a winter.I was there the last week in April for 5 days and some of those days were disappointing.

As for the hotel, well its my second visit in two consecutive years .A recent construction 2001 i think, and not far from the beach. Whether it is levante or poniente beach you wish to relax on , both are easily accessible.
The hotel belongs to the Best Western chain and can be booked on their website. Thomsons also feature this hotel in their brochure. I booked direct with Best Western and got a good rate. I had a large room , ensuite, balcony, and double bed.All the bedrooms and corridors are carpetted, so theres no scraping of chairs across tiled floors from the rooms above and to the side of you -a definite bonus.
The pool area is on the small side but adequate with plenty of sun loungers and the basement houses a gym and beauty therapy. There is also entertainment on an evening.
I didnt use the restaurant but that was by choice and no reflection of the food served there.I chose to eat at the La Bamba cafe which is on a side street adjacent to the hotel and serves good breakfasts and plenty of choice for evening meal .A welcome awaits you.
Would i go back to Benidorm and this hotel ? The answer is probably yes.I found the people i came into contact with friendly and warm .The town in April was safe at night , however that might alter when the tourist season picks up in July August , September and the revellers enter town.
So there you have it , a brief review of my stay in Benidorm , soon Ill be off to Prague . Benidorm and Prague as different as chalk and cheese , but then thats what travel is all about -different experiences.

Always been to the Plaza in the past, but this was a nice change. First class rooms, good food (always hot) and a nice relaxed dining room. Would definatley go back.
