Just returned from the Terralta apartments, got a few gripes, some have moaned about the hill it's more of a slope, and about 15 mins to the beach, there is no sunbed hogging, if you put your towel on at a silly time like 6 in the morning expect it not to be there at 1pm,it will be moved, which is great,.It's in the old Town,so if you want party, party it's not for you but it doesn't stop you getting the bus there, which is every hour bus stop outside the complex,to the new town, Very clean the Entertainment let's it down, their music system has seen better days, with the age of the Laptop and downloads it could be a lot better the mini club is very basic, the same routine eveynight.but Carol-anne the entertainment manager is great, the Restaurant, they call al a cart is more like pub food, but very good, and the Barstaff are great there is one or two that got a attitude, but dealing with picky adult's and excited children that is understandable, the reception is very helpful a word of warning there is a 60 Euro's deposit on the room when you get for to cover any damages,32 Euro's for the safe the mini market is basic but there is a good supermarket down the hill which a lot of people, went for has it was half the price for some items, but it's a great place great pool, you will have a great time, experience the real spain.

arrived back on the 1st sept, first impressions when arriving was a bit far out, aparthotel looked nice very clean, on booking in very swift given key card on are way, we had apartment in block 2 over looking pool which to be honest was brill, there was everything in apartment that you need,no complaints there? right lets be honest now i know eveyones different when it comes to choice but heres some pointers to look out for, food in aparthotel not cordon blur!! everything microwaved plus keep an eye on your food and drinks bill, they add extras on then make excusses when confronted, staff in this area can be very igronant, plus they have the eye for the ladies[ would be alright if they where young bucks] sadly there older than me!!!, entertiment was pants, kids disco, bingo, parrot show the 3 girls that was the entertiments team were fighting with each other one day around the pool got to say 10 out of 10 for that entertiment, would have paid 10 euros to watch that! towels put out early yes it did happen has other reviews stated because no umberellas only 4 big ones in one area, lifegard on duty moves them from 11 oclock onwards he moved mine one day put towels next to bin asked why he said could not reserve beds, fair enough found out later he moved them because a spanish fam wanted to sit there, observed him over the next few days only moving brits towels, shop in aparthotel very basic but ideal for what you need, supermarket at bottom of hill more choice less expensive, the hill can be a killer if carry water and food stuffs, theres a bus stop outside hotel number 36 takes you into the new town for only 1.30 euros each or if you perfer taxi to old /new town can be ordered from recption for 20cents on the other hand you can walk to the old town in 5-10mins all down hill nice walk. nightlife we found the old town a lot better than the new town, got to recommend the Queens hotel for the food and entertiment, plenty to drink and eat places but not as cheap as you would think,on average a pint costs 2.20 euros plus if you have kids cokes, fantas a rip off. all in all a holiday is what you make it we had a fab time, plenty of good times, would recommend the terralta to familys wanting a hol away from the crowds,if thats not your scene don't go to far out.

Room Tip: asked for pool view.

Just got back from our second stay at Terralta, but this I took my 2 teenage sons!

Arrived at noon and pleasantly surprised that the room was ready. I'd asked for a high floor, pool view in quiet location, we got 2 out of 3 with a ground floor apartment in block 4.
Reception staff are pleasant and chatty and English is the 2nd language here. Has to be with all the Brits in the hotel.

Room, large 1 bedroom with twin beds and 2 sofa beds in seating area, however no wardrobe space in lounge and only 12 coat hangers in the apartment (we took some so all ok). Asked for more pillows from housekeeping and these were delivered eventually. Small kitchenette area with 4 rings and enough cutlery and plates for 4 people. Tip ~ if you like a large tea or coffee take your own mug!! Toaster and kettle in room and microwave.

You room only gets cleaned once per stay along with clean towels once!! We asked for clean ones though and we got them. Not sure what they cleaned the floor with though as our feet got covered in long hair! I had to mop it all up....... Not good. Air con only went down to 23 which was odd but was ok and we soon adapted ok. Electricity is controlled by putting your key card in the slot by the door, just use another card ie a supermarket rewards card and your air con will be on all day.

Pool is big and plenty of sun beds. Little shop on site was reasonable. Supermarket a 10 min walk away down the slight hill. One journey with 4 people and 8 bags was enough for the week. The walk back carrying the bags was hard work though.

Entertainment was the SAME every night. The kiddies disco played the same disc all the time, in fact it's the same one from 7 years ago. If I hear Veo Veo again I will scream along with Superman! The youngsters liked it I suppose.

The apartments are low rise with only 3 floors which in comparison to the rest of benidrom is really low. The location is great, on the edge of old town and miles away from the hustle of new town.

Be careful of taxi prices. They were very steep. 12€ to new town? 11€ to Terra Mitica.

If you want a family break without the British louts on birthday and stag/hen do's then this is the place for you. Listed as a 2 star, could be a 3 star with more housekeeping and cleaner rooms.

Room Tip: Use a plastic card in the electric slot.

just back from a week with my 17 and 19 year old. lovely apartments, cleaned twice in a week. most staff are friendly, although found on man on reception to be miserable (never smiled, even when he could be bothered to look up!!!) prices of food good, although fairly limited menu. happy hour very busy between 9 and 10.30..... expect long ques. pool fantastic, as for towels on sunbeds, just ask at reception and they will remove them. entertainment not much to write home about. now the HILL........ its a hard slog in the heat ad with bags of shopping, but as other have said it is manageable, and sometimes preferable to getting a taxi, as the drivers are crazy!!! overall a good place to stay.

Room Tip: pool side is very noisy, ask for sea veiw....much quieter
