“Brilliant!”
Reviewed 29 May 2012 via mobile

We stayed at here in may and couldn't fault it at all! Rooms were spotless everyone friendly and the weather was fantastic! My kids loved it ages 12,9 and 21 months.

Ok the hill was a drag walking back up but we done it everyday and helped burn off those extra calories that had been ate and drunk!!

We will be returning next year as we loved the terallta!!

First time we had stayed in Benidorm we arrived at our apartments and was surprised how lovely the apartments were very clean and well equiped we were in block 4 overlooking the aldult pool and garden. The staff was friendly and helpful. It took about twenty minutes to walk into the town and the hill coming back was not to bad although if you go july/august when it get hotter it would be more difficult to walk it there is bus which stop outside the hotel. Ican reccomend the Queens hotel to eat eight euros for three course sunday roast. And the chinese Pato laqueado good value and food. Wednesday market behind hotel worth a visit leather sandals 5 euros

Room Tip: Apartments overlooking the pools

We have stayed in these apartments in 2009, and thought we would return, with a friend, for a last minute break. We did not regret our decision. The hotel reception booked us in quickly and our room was, as requested, on an upper floor overlooking the pool.

The apartment was clean and well equipped, with everything you would need in a self catering apartment. The pool area was quiet (early May) and there were more than enough sun beds to go around. We did make use of the hotel facilities, but only to eat Breakfast, lunch (once), and the odd drink beside the pool. On all occasions the service was swift, friendly and the food was of a good quality, as well as being very reasonably priced.

A lot of people will criticise the location of this hotel as it is at the top of a fairly steep hill, about 10-15 mins walk from the Old Town. To be honest, I wouldn’t even attempt to walk up that hill in the mid-day sun, but a taxi from the Old Town is between 6 & 8 Euros. Whilst paying this once or twice a day might add a little to the holiday budget, the value for money that this hotel offers should mean that you consider staying here. It’s a lovely, low rise (only 3 floors) apart hotel, that is unusual for Benidorm, and its location, being quite far from the New Town, should only be viewed as a positive!!

Issues / criticisms: We did have an issue with one of the locks on the bedroom door leading onto the balcony, but the hotel managed to fix this properly on the second attempt. The Air Conditioning was set at 23 degrees and would go no lower. Bearing in mind that the temperatures were in the high twenties on most days, and we are pale Brits, we felt that this was too warm to be really comfortable. We did ask if it could be lowered, but were told that it could not.

Other than that we had a brilliant holiday, and would return, no question. And for those anti-Benidorm snobs out there… Avoid the New Town, stick to the Old Town, and you will have a fantastic time!! It’s a lovely place, with lots of traditional Spanish food on offer !! It’s not all Stag Do’s and pikey Brits!!

Room Tip: A high room overlooking the adult pool, for a quieter room!

This was my second time to Benidorm but the first staying at the Terralta App. No problems on arrival and we found our appartment quickly and easily, we had asked for a pool view room and were given a room overlooking the adult pool. This was great positioning as we could see over the main pool and activities going on but far enough away to avoid any noise from the entertainment at night. Staff were very friendly and we often ate in the little cafe which we found to have reasonable pricing and we always enjoyed what we ate. We used the small on site to buy baguettes and snacks and found staff in there to be very chatty. We never had any problems getting sun loungers and my son loved the pool. The kids were allowed floats balls water guns etc and the lifeguard kept a close eye on them. The hotel is on a bit of a hill which i didn't find much of an issue but my mum who has had issues with her legs before struggled towards the end of the week. We only used the evening entertainment once for my son and he enjoyed it they had a few games and activities then had some snakes/turtles for the kids to see. All in all a fantastic holiday and if I return to Benidorm i would have no hesitation in booking here again.

It was our first visit to Terralta Apartments in Benidorm and we were very pleased with the accommodation. We stayed there for a week at the beginning of May and had lovely weather. Being great fans of sightseeing we treated the hotel more like a sleeping base rather that a place where we would spend a lot of time.

We arrived very late in the night and there was no problems with the check-in. On our request, our room was change to a one on the top floor and with the sea view at no additional cost.
The reception staff was very friendly and helpful.

The apartments were very clean and spacious. The kitchenette was very well equipped (with a big fridge) and all the necessary utensils were there. The balcony was marvelous - enourmous size and magnificent views made the meals eaten outside so much enjoyable.
On the other side, we felt that the bathroom could do with a couple more towels and the bins in the apartments could have been emptied every day rather than 2-3 times a week. It is even more important if you are cooking fish for the dinners.

Unfortunately we did not have the chance to use the pools. The covered pool was closed due to maintenance and the water in the outdoor pool was far too cold for our liking. We were also disappointed to hear that the cover pool is only heated between November and end of April.
The location of the hotel was perfect for us - at the hilltop, away form the Benidorm's noise and rush.

In overall, it was a great accomidation for what we paid. It is a very good value for money and a perfect base if you want to do some travelling around Costa Blanca. We will reallly recommend this place.

Room Tip: Request the room at the top floor (to avoid noise from the pool area and bar) with the pool view and...
