We had a 10 night stay at the Flamingo Oasis at the beginning of May we go to Spain in May most years, and this was by far the worse holiday we have ever had, on the positive, the hotel was very clean and the staff worked very hard to keep the standard high, and the staff were pleasant. now for the negative The food was poor very English works canteen type not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel in Spain, very often the wine glasses in the restaurant were smeary, the entertainment we were lead to believe was the best in Benidorm was very poor, try the Tropical or Rachels bar across the road much better. the entertainments bar was only open evenings and served drinks in plastic glasses (the entertainment was inside) again not very 4 star, The music in the piano bar was very loud, we did think that it would be a little quieter. lots of hen and stag parties, we were surprised by the amount of children staying in the hotel as it was term time, the general noise level was very high in the hotel, hen fights in the hall ways and family arguments in the early hours and the amount of children. If it was not for the adult solarium and the fact that there are some great places to visit in and around Benidorm we would have asked to either move to another hotel or for an earlier flight home, I feel the hotels is very lucky to have 4 stars, and I am sure that unless something is done they it will be downgraded to a 3 star Hotel, will we go back to Benidorm yes, would we go back to the Flamingo Oasis or recommend the hotel NO.More
