On arrival, it is a really nice apartment, clean, new and modern but after staying there for a few days it has come to light just how many things were wrong.
We booked an apartment with a pool. When we made an attempt to sit in the sunshine round the pool we were told that it wasn't open until next month (June). After complaining the management company I was advised that in Spain, pools in private apartment blocks do not open until June. I wish we had been told that when we booked!!! Apparently this info was displayed on every other advert for this apartment except the one we booked through. This information was quickly uploaded after I complained. How frustrating when we looked over the balcony and could see every other pool in the apartment blocks and hotels around us are in use.
The idea of an apartment is self catering so we went out and bought groceries only to find that there was no kettle or toaster in the apartment. We bought wine but there were no wine glasses.
It's handy having a washing machine but there was no clothes airer, I had to buy a line at my own expense!
A dishwasher is also nice to have, but when we tried to use it it needed filling with salt and rinse aid so it didn't work.
Neither of the bedside lights in the bedroom worked and the lamp in the living room was broken.
There were on instructions in the apartment i.e. where to leave rubbish, WiFi password etc.
Overall, it's very disappointing, we expected better!
