“just got back ...”
Reviewed 6 April 2014

just arrived home from this hotel, my wife & i ( both aged 50) stayed for 5 days, this must be the noisiest hotel we have ever stayed in on any holiday we have been on ! its situated on a busy street & cars/vans etc use it day & night, the Spanish do deliveries early morning & all you hear is reversing beepers all night , why don't they turn them off ? its a button on the dashboard ! then there were the stag & hen parties, huge groups of lads & lasses, good bunch through the day but once drunk started fighting amongst themselves, in the end the police had to be called & security was placed in the hotel , the food was fine ( not always hot though ) plenty of choice, no tea/coffee making facilities in the room so if you are a "early riser" you have to wait until the restaurant opens at 8 am ( unless you do what we did just went out & bought a kettle) no English channels on the tv , surely in this technological age they could have BBC news 24 at least , the bar is open to the Spanish public but they seemed ok & just kept themselves to themselves, , there is a nice lounge area in the lobby with comfy couches /easy chairs etc & its a nice place to sit , the staff were fine no complaints, although they didn't speak English very well so if you needed anything it was a bit of a drawn out affair to get them to understand, the whole building was "very tired" to be honest & could do with a revamp, the location was fine as a base, just a walk along the street & you were at the beach & could go anywhere, it was our first time in benidorm & don't think we would go back, in conclusion this hotel is fine if you are on a stag/hen holiday , if you are a couple wanting a relaxing holiday or like entertainment on a evening its not for you as there was no entertainment at all & i most defiantly would never take kids there , far to rowdy

Room Tip: there are no good views from any rooms in this hotel, try & get a room at the back, no view but...

The hotel is very nice the staff are first rate the food is basic but good for a three star but the biggest problem they have is British drunks gathering outside the front of the hotel to smoke they are abusive loud and put a lot of people off . We like this hotel but will not be going back till they sort out this problem

Room Tip: Away from the young British

Good loacation, Hotel Lobby is good, ZERO ZERO ZERO entertainment. ALL INCLUSIVE Drinks are Cheap and Disgusting. Wine is extremley dry, Beer is Ok, Spirits are Cheap Undrinkable.
Food is touch and go, To be honest spent most of the time eating out. The pool is very small and crowded. Only one pool on the roof, Snacks are good as you can get a hotdog or a toastie anytime at the pool bar or main bar. I would recommend this if you are only looking for a cheap hotel or cheap bed for a few nights then to move on. Reception Do not speak English very well, missed out on so many experiences, scuba diving, boat trips etc. because reception could barley understand english. We where very lucky my partner could speak some spanish. Hotel is right on the beach, 2 minute walk. Clean Towels Very Day, Shampoo Body wash everyday. Beds are comfortable. We were told we were getting ocean view, we got a lovely view of a wall, below there was old naked men walking about from the care home opposite. Air conditioning was free, hotel wifi only works in the lobby and downstairs bar.

Room Tip: Bring a Card that you are ok to loose, e,g a few subway or netar cards, and place them in the card s...

Stayed here 7/3/14 for 3 nights with a group of friends for my hen weekend. Hotel is situated a short walk from beach, bars and shops. Couldnt ask for better while staying in the old town. Taxi rank is right outside main entrance perfect for travelling into benidorm.

Hotel its self is clean and spacious. However it appears to be a bit dated decoration wise. Staff friendly. This hotel is very much aimed at a spanish clientele. Rooms were basic however clean enough for short stay with balcony looking over street. Food was ok, rather bland but didnt cause much issue as we werr only there 3 nights. Did however had out champagne on the saturday night for all guests. The bar its self appears to be a regular pub for locals. Served a range of drink....just dont ask for cocktails there is none! The only real problem was the fact they allowed beggers in to pester customers and people selling stuff. This did make me feel uneasy.

The pool was closed while we were here but it does have a roof terrace that in hight of summer will be very good for sun lovers.

All in all this is a hotel that is suited to the short stay and get what you paid for.

We booked 2 nights all inclusive. We reside in Spain and just wanted to visit Benidorm for the 'Fallas' festival and stay in Old Benidorm, which is lovely without being too rowdy, mind you it was only March and there were enough people and noise for me.
It was a nice big room, bathroom adequate. Didn't really enjoy the eating experience, a bit eat it and go, find your own wine and water at the top end of the restaurant, scrape off your own plates between courses because there really is no waiter/waitress attention. In fact we only had limited food because we were out and about. Its a good location so I would say its not worth paying all inclusive.
Yes, the staff and hotel are Spanish. (IT'S SPAIN) I think the negative reviews about this are totally uncalled for. We are Brits that reside in Spain its our choice because we love Spain and the Spanish people and we found no different treatment being English, certainly no paper cups for drinks.

Given the price we paid (not a lot) for an all inclusive stay here I was apprehensive! However this is a clean friendly hotel smack in the middle of Benidorm 50 meters from the beach with friendly staff and pretty decent food. Pool on the roof was chilly but sunny. What more do you want? I'd happily stay again.
