“Horrendous food!!!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 August 2014

Stayed here with my husband & brother & sister in law for my bro in laws 30th. Arrived at 12pm and checked in straight away no problems!
Pool was actually lovely in all honesty, we never had a problem getting 4 beds together, even when the stag and hens arrived on the Thursday!!
Rooms were okay I suppose only the maid NEVER made my bed but made my husbands :/ weird... We was on the first floor right next to the street surprisingly it wasn't even that loud (I took earplugs just incase)!
THE FOOD was DISGUSTING oh my god I can't even begin to tell you!! I lived off chips and even that's vile!
Overall it was okay... I love benidorm but I wouldn't stay here again.

Stayed here 1-8th August. Food was minging undercooked the majority of the time but didn't expect much more as the chef was always eyeing up the ladies, alcoholic drinks tasted like pop, toasties was
Freezing cold and awful. The lifeguard was arrogant. The bar staff take no interest in English. A lot of arrogant Spanish women. Rooms was nice air con was sweet. Didn't get our room or towels done everyday and very far from the new town. Wouldn't recommended.

Just come bck from here.. Did 10 days all inclusive..
Read a few reviews before we left but I'm open minded and think some people maybe expect too much... On arrival room wasn't ready but wasn't a problem as had safe room to leave luggage n half hour later room was ready..
Room smelt clean ( bleach ) walked in bathroom clean n water puddle on floor that splashed up n bleached my black trousers but was cleanish So thinking not so bad.. Trousers can be replaced..Wondered around hotel thinking ok this not too bad
Dinner time.. Food was cold n too be fair half of it looked undercooked not that could even remotely see what it was as they labeled the chips ( think everyone knows what chips are )
Wasn't put off thought first day n first impressions aren't always the whole story...
Well to cut it short nothing changed.. Food wasn't even worth having.. Freezing cold breakfast that starts at 8 n we was there at 8.02
Rooms apparently was cleaned each day... I personally cleaned my own room as it was just a change of bin bag I think n toilet roll was empty n left unbelievable but wasn't gonna let it spoil our hol
But too be honest the hotel as no good points n everyone was saying same thing but you make most out of bad situation..
Old town is not very lively but very busy as in shopping so spend the extra and go to the new town we did this every night infact besides to sleep we wasn't in the hotel as got kinda depressing seeing this each day..
People say you get what you pay for.. We paid £1400 that's not by far means cheap n to be honest its the worst ever hotel we have been too n we ain't snobs we take things as they come n always make best out of bad situations.. I didn't expect 5 star but I expected a cleaned room hot food
Would be safe to say that I will go to benidorm again but it will never be to this hotel even if it was for free..
First ever review I have wrote n Shame its a bad one but for all other holidays n hotels we have had we have never felt like this

Came here fr 7 days in July 2014 all inclusive. Read the poor reviews previously but to be honest, anyone booking this for a relaxing holiday needs to do more research.

The hotel itself is right in the old town, near the harbor and a good 15min walk to the disgusting, pit of nastiness they call 'the square'. Rooms are actually nice for this standard of hotel, AC was good which always a bonus when its 38degC outside. Showers were good as well which is rare, some Spanish hotels have horrible bathrooms. Food by all inclusive standards is pretty good 8/10.

Free/all inclusive drinks leave a bit to be desired, horrible 'locally sourced' vodka/rum, but thats what you expect for all-in.

Clientele is a strange mix. Two groups that wouldn't usually mix. Spanish folk of all ages trying to relax and British stag/hens havin' it large. Rooftop pool is fantastic with great views of the sea and mountains but i suspect this is wasted on the stags who are well, wasted.

To end, good hotel if you are a party sort - you'll have a great time. Avoid if you're with a young family or want some chill time.

Myself and 18 others stayed at this hotel on the first floor,we honestly couldn't fault the room or the staff. The food was catered for the Spanish but there was always something for us to eat. The service from the staff was excellent! the pool was brilliant, made a nice change, not far from the beach or the main benidorm strip. Wouldn't recommend for a family holiday but for a weekend hen/stag party it's exactly what you need. Rooms were brilliant and 24hr air conditioning for nothing! FANTASTIC WEEKEND!

Had a great time at the Voramar Hotel and enjoyed Benidorm so much that my wife did not want to come home! The hotel is approx 200 metres from the beach and on the edge of the old town/new town and a good mixture of shops and restaurants. Ideal for couples. Stayed on the 5th floor (room 521) and the room was quiet, and air cond was free. Food was okay (would not rave about the breakfast), the site was clean and the staff were friendly. Lots of Spanish customers were there which is probably a good sign. Decent mixture of drink including. We enjoyed the Pina Colada, Malibu & Pineapple, Baileys etc. The swimming pool is on the small side but ideal for a quick dip after a day on the beach. Never had to wait more than 2 minutes for drink or food. Wi fi only available in the reception and ground floor area.

Room Tip: Ask for a at the back, to avoid noise from the road.
