Hotel reception looked great but after that everythings a bit tired. Room was cleaned each day and the woman who runs the place was very unpleasant, miserable and rude. The other staff were great. I would not stay again

Been to this hotel many times, always gave it good marks, all round. This visit we both found that the food was not to the standard it was on our past visits. The new decor in the bar area, was nice, all the staff were very good . But sad to say again ! food not upto the standard of the Benillux Park, we are used too...

Room Tip: go for high floor

The bathroom is a bit dated & the position of the toilet was a bit weird; I could have sat & rested my chin on the sink it was that close. If you are a large person you may even struggle to slide onto the toilet whilst avoiding the sink.

The room was clean & the beds quite comfy. Unfortunately the walls are very thin & I was kept awake by the man in the next room snoring loudly. At 4am a couple of gentlemen arrived back to their room next to us or above us; I'm not sure? They woke us up banging their door & then talking loudly until 5am, at approx. 7am the hotel staff start to clean the pool area & move tables & chairs very noisily, so not a good nights sleep at all!

We chose this hotel as we had read the reviews & knew it would be full of pensioners, which it was but we still got woke up so our plan backfired.

The food was very bland but they have a good buffet selection. The breakfast is excellent & makes us for the bland lunch & dinner.

The hotel is 5 mins from the beach & bars so the position is excellent & the parking is secure & reasonably priced.

Room Tip: Maybe the top floor you don't get woken up by the cleaners? Take some earplugs with you!

Very clean and quiet.
Located just on the edge of the old town, its position behind Poniente playa suggests that it was one of the original big hotels at the beginning of Benidorm's boom in the sixties. and then probably refurbished in the eighties. The shops and bars of the old town are less than ten minutes walk away. Poniente playa an easy five minutes.
Beds were comfortable, but bathroom was ridiculously cramped - if you were a bit more flexible than me you could wash your hair in the sink while sitting on the WC and simultaneously wash your right foot in the bidet.
Food was good, but after a few days it became samey. Vegetarian choices for my partner were limited, he often ate onion rings, potato croquettes and tomato, sometimes with mushroom pizza. Followed by green jelly or yellow jelly. We are still unsure what flavour they were.
Self service buffet was chaotic, only the few Brits understood the concept of queueing. Next year I will have a T shirt saying 'Get out of my way, dozy woman'. Yes I will go back, my partner had been before, as had the friends we went with.
Free WiFi is slow and only available near the poolside bar or in some parts of reception but having it at all is a useful bonus.
Our only problems were with general tourist information outside the hotel's control - a guide to bus routes and where to catch each route would have helped a lot. The hotel staff were helpful in pointing us towards Route 01 to Terra Mitica theme park but the timetable to return after closing time was incomprehensible so we got a taxi back at ten times the price of a single bus ticket, if indeed there was a bus at that time of evening.

Room Tip: I don't think any rooms will suffer from night-time noise, the entertainment in the bar is over...

Hotel - mainly european, lots of spanish, some french & german...less english - gave the feeling of actually being abroad
Rooms very clean - bathroom could do with updating (and shower seals cleaning) yet not enough to be off putting - very clean sheets/bedding/towels
Location excellent, quiet with undisturbed nights after the entertainment has finished, around 12 -entertainments geared towards non english speaking guests - not an issue - made us feel we really were on holiday!
Safe - 10 euros a week, 9 eu for 3 days - expensive as safe within own room, no admin support needed
Cleaners - fantastic - although up at 7am each morning when pool areas being cleaned due to noise and all rooms overlooking pool - would need to keep window/door closed (too warm at min to do this) - filling mop bucket up in the pool not a gr8 idea though!
Food - more continental tastes catered for - would have helped to have food labelled (being veggie) and the signs saying if food cold use microwave doesnt give good impression, plenty of salad and deserts to die for though
Staff friendly enough - if you're polite, they are polite.

Room Tip: All rooms overlook pool area - remember this when getting changed :-)

Myself and my daughter stayed here for a week..
The room we stayed in (401) was dirty on arrival, air conditioning didn't work and the shower cable was broken.. After informing the reception, these problems were eventually dealt with apart from the shower cable but it worked.. Throughout the week the domestic didn't clean the floors or high dusted..
If you require a fridge in your room, it costs you an additional 21 euros, there is also no beverage facilities in your room or glasses, you also have to pay a fee to use the safety deposit box in your room..
The entertainment was mainly In Spanish and the shows put on not for the guests of the hotel, but for the Spanish oap residents who live nearby..
The food was mostly catered for the Spanish residents, meats were sometimes pink and the soups had bones in on occasions..
The pool area is very good, just unfortunately the trees over shadow the pool from 1pm..
Lastly, benidorm is a lovely place, has great parks, lots to do and is well worth visiting, just don't book with this hotel if your with children and want to relax in the evening..

First time to Benidorm but would go back to this Hotel and the area tomorrow. It is 8 floors high and I suffer from small places They had booked us on the 8th floor but I can't do lifts. They sorted a room for us on the 1st floor overlooking the pool and the bar and entertainment area. The staff we lovely The hotel might need a little decoration in bedrooms the rest is presented beautifully. The food was excellent We were told it is a Spanish Hotel so the food would cater for those but there was such a good selection of everything. We had booked only bed and breakfast but were asked if we would like half board for an extra £10 per head for whole week. The tea and coffee and snacks at the pool were so cheap could not believe it.We went early July and there was a good mix of spanish english german and irish just a few small children but school holidays had not started yet.Our flight was home was middle of night and the porter opened the restaurant so we could have coffee and snack free of charge. The beach is a 5min walk away beautiful promenade Lots of little back street cafes Buses pull up outside hotel every 10mins 1.50euro into Benidorm. 10min walk into old town It is on the spanish side of Benidorm and it is very family friendly Yes we would go back The new Benidorm is nice for nights out but liked very much where we were

Room Tip: All rooms look on to the pool Our son and his wife were on the 8th floor and they said the lifts an...
