wife and I went with sister and brother in law to this hotel a couple of weeks ago, my sister got it up on the internet because we wanted a last minute holiday and we chose this hotel because of the price and reviews, we have been coming to Benidorm for nearly 30 years so have picked up a sort of spanish along the way, enough to get by. Like most people we first used to stay at the levante end for the nightlife etc, but as we have grown older we have gradually moved along and into the old town, so this hotel suited our purpose, it is very clean and the staff are very helpful, all speak english, and the food was good , even though the clientele was mainly spanish we got on very well with them and enjoyed the nightly entertainment, we would not hesitate to visit this hotel again and hope to do so maybe for some winter sun! popeye

Room Tip: I would think that due to that part of benidorm, there is little to choose from any side of the hote...

This hotel is well situated for the old town and the beach. The food was excellent for the money, with plenty of choice at the buffet breakfast and dinner. The rooms are quite basic, but clean. The hotel is quite tired and would benefit from redecoration. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. Overall we felt it was very good value for the money and we would stay here again.

Room Tip: We had a view of the pool from the balcony of our room. Lovely to sit outside early evening

If you want a top class hotel dont stay here, but if you want a nice and cheap hotel with average food, excellent location a few miutes walk from the beach, friendly and efficient staff, very quiet right next to the cop shop, very small pool and outside area, the entertainment at night is a disco, lots of spanish old timers there who were in general very friendly, rooms are basic but clean, i did like the shower gel and shampoo dispensers fixed to the wall in the shower, me and the wife saw lots of shows in the main bar area and i would say checkout Sinatras and Jokers but so much choice there, we paid a little under 200 quid each with transfers and baggage for 5 nights at half board which i was well happy with, so in conclusion a nice place to stay at a good price with nice people.our stay was 18/05/ to 23/05 and the weather was very hot

Room Tip: all rooms the same no sea views

I stayed here end of march 2014.I get a flight, full board and transfers for £236 with travel republic.Hotel brasil is a briliant find.I am quite easy to please with that price. The hotel is spotless and clean. The food was mixed and geared up for the spanish but it was lovely-i had three small portions of paella one day and the fried squid was great too.you even get free wine and water. the restaurant staff were very hardworking and organised. they were very friendly and helpful and they a wee 20 euro tip. the spanish were noisy in the restaurant- but they were happy friendly and enjoying their holiday- no body sitting cold and quiet like the brits do. i am currently looking for my next stay there as it has every thing for me. good location to and safe.

We spent two very enjoyable nights for an amazing low price, so we did not expect too much but were very pleasantly surprised. The breakfast buffet included English option and dinner buffet had four choices of main course and wine and water were included. Other reviewers have commented that the food was angled towards mainly Spanish clientele - frankly that's rubbish. Likewise, we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, but of course, we have taken the trouble to learn Spanish although the staff did speak to us in English. There was a certain amount of noise from late night revellers coming back, but that's not the hotel's fault and all Spanish hotels echo because of the tiled floors. The free wifi was good in our room and for those not familiar with Spanish TV, it is possible to change the language of films and programmes to the original language. Location is fair, about ten minutes walk to Balcon del Mediterraneo which is between the two long, clean sandy beaches. Parking is available at 5 minutes walk away and costs Euro 16 per day including hotel discount. One tip - try to leave the car park before 10 am to avoid paying an extra day.

We stayed here for 4 nights in March to watch Cheltenham Festival at UK bars then enjoy Fallas festival in Denia. should've been 5 nights but Easyjet oversold our flight! Reception very helpful when I emailed to say we'd be a day late and on arrival really friendly and very good English . I did try my Spanish@?? We were on 1st floor right by stairs and it was a bit noisy but only with retired Spanish couples nattering. Room was cleaned every day with clean towels and breakfast was excellent, lots of choice & friendly, happy staff. We overlooked police station and a couple of times we had a beer and tapas in the same bar as them near the hotel. Perfect location and will definitely stay again.

My wife and I spent a week here from 17th to 24th Sept. and found the hotel to be above our expectations for a 2 star. We had a room on the 5th Floor which had a large balcony that overlooked the Police Station. We had a sort of walk in shower because there was no curtain! The room also had a flat screen telly with spanish tv stations! Nevertheless large enough for the two of us and it had a safe at a reasonable cost together with a functional A/c unit at no extra cost unlike some hotels.
The restaurant is below ground and with only one lift that sometimes took 5-10 minutes to summon a ride. The food to be honest was always hot, with a good selection at every meal with free red wine & water at meals. Always a choice but aimed towards the Spanish holiday maker which was not a problem. Plenty of fresh bread & fruit everyday, soup, cold meat & salads. We were always able to find a table and able to serve ourselves without too much hassle.
The daily evening entertainment was again aimed towards the Spanish visitor but we rather enjoyed the hokey cokey sung in Spanish! Bar prices were reasonable with a small beer @ 1.50e and a cocktail for 3.00e which could be drunk by the pool or in the lounge. WiFi was also free in the reception area but only worked reliably now & again. There were numerous Tapas bars within a short walk, shops & supermarkets to buy cheap wine & beer too. The Old town shops were also within 5-10 minutes walk which are well worth a visit too. This area around the hotel always seemed to be busy but due to it's location next to the Police Station we were not disturbed by noise or loud disco/bars.
The hotel is situated about five minutes from a lovely sandy beach in the older part of the town, but I would not advocate hiring a car as there is no where to park without paying 16-18 euros a day to use private parking faclities. We had to either pay to park or walk for 10-15 minutes from the outskirts of the town to the hotel.
In summary we enjoyed our stay and found the majority of the staff to be really friendly & helpful. For the price we paid for the week it represented extremely good value for the money and would advise a visit if you want to experience Benidorm.

Room Tip: Don't book if you want a sea view, there isn't one.
