Good fun for the family - not a lot for the younger ones as my godson is only two, but still a good day out - made even better by the fact that it was free through our hotel.

Went mid June 2013, cost couple of Euros on bus from Benidorm took 15-20mins to get there, was lots of school kids they day we went but longest queuing time was prob 15 mins. Great rides, not expensive to eat in the park either which was a pleasant surprise compared to UK theme parks! All in all a great day out - whether adults only or family!

So nice to get soaked on the water rides & dry within 10mins! By the way you do get very wet on all the water rides no matter where you sit etc.........!

This beautifully laid out theme park is well worth a visit for a very enjoyable day out - we visit every year and love it! It is located in the mountain overlooking Benidorm and can be quite hilly in parts (but not overly strenuous if you take your time) and for those with walking disabilities, motorized scooters are available for hire. It is reasonably priced for a day ticket and they have offers for consecutive days. There is something for all ages, ranging from very gentle kids rides to fun family rides, to the extreme rollercoasters which are thrilling and scary at the same time! We love the amazing water rides and the latest rollercoaster "Inferno" which will have you screaming your lungs out but rushing back for more! Even if rides and rollercoasters are not your thing, this park is so picturesque with it's many rivers, waterfalls and fountains it makes for a pleasant walk on a gorgeous sunny day. The huge lake at the entrance is stunning and even more so at night when it is lit up with the spectacular laser and firework show which is worth staying until the end of the night for. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes and snack bars, and lots of souvenir shops for those who love shopping, and the music playing in the background adds to the atmosphere of each of the themed "lands". My only negative about this park would be the wooden rollercoaster "Colossus" which is incredibly bumpy and tends to throw you about a bit making it very uncomfortable. On the three occasions we went on this ride we came off feeling like we had been given a kicking and thrown down a mountain side so have vowed never to ride it again! - I think Terra Mitica should take some lessons from the American theme parks on how to create smoother rides :-) Otherwise, this is a great park and a must if you are staying in Spain. Remember to take swim costumes and towels too so you can use the swimming area which is great fun for kids. Highly recommended!

Terra Mitica is very good value for money. The rides are good and my family enjoy it year after year. However, over the last couple of years the food outlets seem to be closing and are now very limited. In August 2012, apart from a couple of more expensive restaurants, there was only one open which was extremely expensive and, frankly, rubbish. Probably better to take your own picnic until they get organised.

Had not been to a theme park since I was 18! (I am now 41!) So was a bit apprehensive when my husband dragged me here. Loved it though, after the first water ride I wanted to try everything. Which we did, favourite was the wooden roller coaster! Queues were short, plenty of toilets and a spa area to cool down in.

Food was over priced as you would expect at such a place. We had already eaten burgers when we came across the nice looking Italian sit down place but will remember that for next time.

We were on a coach trip so were here from 10.30-5pm. Would have stayed right up til closing time otherwise and took a show or 2 in. Will go independently next time.
