Firstly the cheapest way to buy tickets is via the Thomson rep who guarantee wont be beaten on price we purchased tickets for Terra Mitica and Iberia Park for 37 Euros. Basically Iberia park was part of Terra Mitica then was closed down and then reopened last year as a separate park, personally just think excuse to get more money from tourists.
Please don't think this park is in the same league as Alton Towers or its other Spanish counterpart Port Aventura as it isn't. The park is improving particular Iberia Park but will get to that later and there is talk that Disney could be looking to take the park on as a Spanish Disney World, watch this space!. There are two water rides the traditional log flume and a large American style splash ride, a large wooden coaster, a inverted roller coaster like Alton Towers Nemesis that are worth speaking of other than this 5D cinema, revolving type swinging sword type ride and numerous small rides. The shows are the must see in the park and the big draw between them.
Been developed with a little Spanish type village with shops and restaurants and a very nice spa type swimming pool with jaquzzi, bubble beds, jets and waterfalls and is pleasant to spend and hour or two for both adults and children. Shows again are very good, with flamenco dancing girls and horse, pirate show and the big night time 11 O'clock show which was held on the lake was amazing. Only down side was that there was only a introduction in English and then only Spanish throughout which tainted the enjoyment as hard to follow plots. Iberia park offers a selection of rides for very little ones and family rides like a very tame rapids.
Ok for a day or to split over two to see all shows and is value at 37 Euros for the two. From Benidorm the bus is 1.5 Euros each and takes about 45mins on a busy bus. Taxi about 10-15 mins and costs around 15 Euros each way.
