“Breathtaking View !!”
Reviewed 1 March 2014

We arrived at arround 8pm and the staff was very accomodating and helpfull ! The studios are really basic but it's very good for its price (50€/night in july), morover we could cook there some fresh fish and enjoy our meals and drinks in the balcony !! The view is AMAAAAAZING !!
The towel were a bit old (not very soft anymore) and the bed sheets were changed once per week. As we stayed there for 16 days, we asked for a sheets replacement ore frequently and we got it.

The hotel is managed by the owners, who live on site, so the service is may be better than elsewhere !

The beach is not far : 5 minutes walking, parking is free, and the hotel's side is less touristic than the heart of benidorm (30 minutes walking away)!

+ There's no wifi there : may be an advantage to enjoy your holidays hahaha

The apartments are in the quieter more Spanish part of Benidorm with easy access by the number 3 bus (1.50€) to the centre of Benidorm.

They are accessed by steps from the wonderful sandy beach and there is free parking along the promenade that reaches all the way to the centre of Benidorm (2km away).

The kitchen has 2 gas rings, kettle, coffee maker, fridge freezer and microwave. The apartments are simply furnished, clean and a little dated. BUT they have the most amazing sea views. The terrace is large enough for a table and 3 chairs. The owners are on site, friendly and helpful.

These apartments are all about the view.

We stayed in room 306 The building & room was unimpressive, very basic, the wardrobe was in a terrible condition it appeared to be falling to bits. We decided not to hang any clothes in there. The room was dusty and very uninviting. The bathroom needed a good clean, the shower had body hair from the previous guests, the shower head didn't work very well the water flow was quite feeble. We were told the reception area was being decorated and the rooms were fine. We was very disappointed with the room, although the facilites were adequate microwave, fridge in good working condition, and a gas hob. The room however, was uncomfortable it was a big room which was very sparsely decorated.
The sea views however, was wonderful and without this it was quite depressing. There are lots of steps to get to the beach but this wasn't a problem for us. Its quite a walk to the old town approximately 50mins. We did get the bus to and from Benidorm, which is only 1.20 Euros the bus stop was a short walk on the main street pass The Beer Academy pub which we thought was a nice friendly atmospher. We understand you get what you pay for, but we wouldn't recommend it at any price, sea views apart.

arrived at the studios mirador quite late, the manager was really accomondating, we had to wait about 15 minutes for a put up bed to be put in the room, the whole hotel was a bit tired and could have done with a lick of paint, but one thing you could not fault was the view it was outstanding. we woke up every day to the sea and sun. the satff were really friendly and helpful. there are a few bars in la cala but it is easy to get a bus to levente beach for the night life you can also get a bus into finestrate which is beatiful.

IGNORE ALL THE OTHER BAD REVIEWS!
The apartments are all being renovated and you will not be staying in an old one now.
We stayed in the Mirador for a week just there in June. After reading the reviews we were dreading going.
However, when we arrived, we thought it was amazing.
They asked us for a €100 indemnity deposit, which was fair enough. We only had €60 on us and they were compleatly understanding and accepted that instead.
We went up to our room and it was lovely. The kitchen and bathroom were brand new and modern, they were both lovely. The bedroom was the same as in the pictures but it was still lovely. The balconies looked right down on the sea and all across Benidorm, which was lovely.
The steps down to the beach however, are killers, just be prepared for them!
Yes, both sockets in the bedroom worked.
All the staff and the owners were all lovely and so helpful and they all spoke very good english, they're all lovely.
The only flaw about the Mirador is its location.. Its not in the lively part of Benidorm. Around it theres lots of shops and restaurants which are all lovely (and I recommend Eddie and Rosies'..its lovely and so are the staff who are english) However, there is no nightlife at all in this area, so we had to get the number 12 bus into where all the nightlife was, but that has nothing to do with the apartments.
We lost our keys on the first night but they didn't mind at all, and gave us a spare set right away, and we still even got out €60 back when we were leaving.
I think they were absoloutly lovely and I would recommend them to anyone.
