This is a fairly new addition to the area..... A beautiful long walkway along the waters edge,
( took a good 35+ mins gentle stroll)... The walkway is wooden and pretty with large boulders on the outside against the sea....The vista across the marinas and the coastline was gorgeous, we did this as the sun was setting, but was still amazingly warm....., the walk was full of couples, and locals jogging (mad people at 30*+).....
It takes you away from the bustle of the bars and food outlets, noisy fairground and market area....
A nice way to spend our last evening basking in the Med sunshine....

This was a nice walk, a really long dock stretching to the sea. Made of Finnish wood, btw. Look for the rocks where they've painted different kind of faces in them. Nice for a late night walk with your spouse.

It's such a nice walk. It's well maintained and there's no rubbish around on the floor. The views are amazing, a good spot for photographers like me.

As we are having our annual pilgrimage to Torreivja, we always have a walk down the pier before going for a drink in one of the new bars around the new marina, on a glorious day like today (11th Oct) the walk is very enjoyable although it is quite long to the end and back, so we normally have a rest near the statue of "The Fishermans Wife". The pier is well maintained and a pleasure to walk along, if you wish, you can drive into the new marina and park all day for 1 euro, then start your walk from about half way down where there are steps up from the marina. Worth a walk and visit if you have never done it before.
