“Cheap and Cheerful”
Reviewed 6 September 2013

Quite a good location, although need to get a map and metro to get out and about. We did walk quite a bit and found some lovely places! Room was okay, spacious and had a computer in our room. Problem is the walls are quite thin, especially at night but just take some earplugs! Leaflets at the front door so things to see and do! only problem is we left about 8am and no one was at the desk to give in our keys so just had to leave them with a note, so didn't feel too secure in doing that. Other than that good value for money.

Room Tip: Top floor!

Popped to Valencia for 1 night while on holiday in Salou. Booked a room for 50 Euros and loved it. Great easy check in with a lovely friendly lady who showed us to our room and gave us a map of Valencia. Stayed in a room just off the dining room and loved the blue tiled floor, the exposed brick and miss matched 'shabby chic' furniture. Was worried that we may be disturbed by people in the dining room but no noise at all travelled through to room. Our room overlooked the small garden which is very pleasant to sit in on an evening. You had the beauty of both air conditioning and a fan so room was lovely and cool which with temperatures outside of 32 degrees was a blessing. The bed was sooooo comfortable and we actually slept till 09.45 and had to pack quickly or miss check out (had very little sleep in our hotel in salou as bed was so hard so this was like heaven). The only 'strange' thing was the glass panel between the bedroom and bathroom (see travelers pics with the orange shower curtain) so you could see into the bathroom from the bed but if you closed the shower curtain in hid the toilet!! Overall positive stay and will certainly return. Can not comment on the food as we were room only. Overall, great location, great hotel, great staff and fab room.

This is much more then just B&B, almost a luxery hotel!

The first night we stayed in a room in the lowest level, which can be reached from the garden. This was a very very quiet room, but we didn't like the basement like atmosphere of the room, it also felt damp. Therefore we requested a new room, this was no problem and the next day we could move to an other room!

The room was very large with nice high ceilings, and mosaic and hard wood floors. Nice flat screen tv (which we didn't use during our stay). Bed was firm, but is was OK. Shower and separate toilet were fine.

Breakfast was nice, more then enough to choose from, personnel was friendly and helpful. We wanted to rent the bikes, but the state of the bikes wasn't very good, so we received a coupon for an other bike rental (which was also cheaper!)

Room Tip: If you want a really quiet room, take the rooms located at the backside at garden level. These room...

The location and the people were good but the room was horrible, no windows, and it was stinking, besides I asked them to change my bed because it was too soft and very old one but it took one day to do it after I took myself two beds because I could not sleep.

Room Tip: you have to ask for a room with window and make sure you don't get the rooms downstairs

We didn't expect much, as the price we payed was so good (5nights, 240 euro). We slept in room 309: little bathroom, bedroom and one very light room to chill out. The bedroom could be totally darkened up, which we liked. There was even a television in our room.

The area is great: you are 100m from calle condea alta with lots of bars and little restaurants. And in a five minute walk you're at the railway station an Plaza Antuyamento.

There was a little bit voice from our neighbors in the other room, but overall: a very nice place to stay if you want a charming, cheap place to sleep!

Services
The staff was really kind and helpful.they can speak english quite well and even they're not 24hr reception, they can wait for us if we let them know via email.we arrived late at 23:00 and nina was already there. She gave us the map and informed us everything we need.the wifi is available and there is 1 pc at cafeteria if u need to do something.
Room
I booked private bathroom and the room was clean and neat.there is a shower foam, towel, kettle, hair dryer and tv as well. They will clean your room daily if u want or else they will clean your room once in a 3days.
Distance
Walking distance to the town area and near to joaquin sorolla railway station.if u arrived late at night, charge 4 the taxi is only 6€.
If i go to valencia. I will choose this hotel without any doubt.

Valencia is beautiful, so we did not spend much time in our room at ABC You. The receptionist was pleasant, the room and furnishings very basic, but the price reasonable given the location. There was a lot of noise at night, both from inside and outside of the building. Our shower cabinet was very small, you could barely turn around when the door was closed. The bathroom fittings were clean but the layout could have been better. Breakfast was basic and an extra 9.5 euros; we got better elsewhere for less cost. There is no lift, the stairs are steep and it would be unsuitable for a person in a wheelchair. Wifi was included, there were no tea making facilities in our room.
