“Excellent location, lovely room.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 August 2014 via mobile

The room was beautiful and we'll styled. It was a 'smaller' room and was still huge. The reception were helpful although rather annoyed when we cancelled our taxi, despite two hours notice.

The location is great. Three minutes from metro station colon, 2 minutes from the cathedral and main square and over looking the ceramics museum which is free to visit on Sundays.

The only thing that would improve the room was a better shower door or bigger bath mat. The floor got very wet when showering and was slippy. I nearly fell twice.

A business orientated boutique hotel that is both welcoming & comfortable.

Well appointed rooms just €70 per night, plump for a street view room & you'll benefit from a larger room & bathroom.

The restaurant offers fantastic food at incredible value. Diner for two with wine, brandy & coffee €55.

A welcome escape from the hustle & bustle of the myriad of squares just a short walk away.

With the beach just 20 minutes across town, where the sea is like a warm salt bath with cooling winds and rolling waves, provides what seems like a 2 centre break.

Absolutely loved the rooms...really stylish and comfortable. ...helpful staff. .. and the best location amongst hotels I have stayed in. All big attractions are less than 5 minutes by walk and its next to the plaza!

Stayed her for 4 nights with my family (kids 13 and 17). The hotel are perfectly located in the old town of Valencia. Service is very helpful. The rooms and bathrooms are large (European standard) and clean. This is highly recommendable. Only reason for 4 and not 5 star-evaluation is the internet connectivity. It's there and it's free, but you need to log in all the time, codes are changing daily and the bandwidth is limited.
TIP1: park your car outside the ring of the old riverbed, it's only 15 minutes walk to free street parking and you save 20€ per day
TIP2: taxis in Valencia are very cheep.

Stayed for two nights, great location near central square where you can get on tour bus , which is hop on hop off and very handy.
Nice lobby and staircase to entrance, professional and courteous check in. Rooms basic but in such a beautiful city don't spen much time in room.
Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on food but both bars were nice with seating outside.
As mentioned on other reviews, walls do seem to transfer any sounds from adjoining rooms.
All in all tidy, basic hotel ideally situated.

This boutique hotel in the heart of Valencia served all our needs. This 3 star hotel (I would allocate them 4 star) had spacious, clean, air conditioned rooms with TV and refrigerator. The bathroom was large, with tub and shower. The hotel is located next to the Ceramics Museum (worth a wonderful two hour visit). Initially, I had requested a room overlooking the museum. However, as we were staying for four evenings, we asked to be switched to a larger room overlooking the street. They were most gracious and helped move our belongings. Best to ask for a room on the higher levels - this will eliminate any chance of noise from the street. As with most hotels in Spain, the breakfast is very expensive, especially when there are many coffee shops that offer a breakfast or tapas at a nominal price. Within walking distance there is La Plaza de la Reina. This is a popular spot with many small restaurants where we had breakfast daily.
Valencia is a lovely city to visit. It is only 1.5 hours from Madrid using their comfortable and clean high speed trains - ours clocked at 300mph - I have a photo to prove it!

Room Tip: Request room on higher floors. There is a main staircase (quite lovely) and also an elevator. Ask f...

We chose the hotel because of its location and where not disappointed about that at all , in fact Valencia is such a cool city and I would go back there rather than say Barcelona after our stay.

Any way back to the hotel , breakfast is OK but if your down after 9.30 there can be a bit of a lack of choice.

Check in and check out where fine.

The little terrace for drinks is great however they can close before midnight some nights and depending on the staff member serving you it can be bloody good or so bad that we left the drink.
Which was a shame as the location is great.

The gin bar is great and service always great in fact its bloody great.

The room was clean with a nice big bed but the bathroom was at best tired to be polite. Towels where good as where the tolietres.

Basicaly we would go back , we did not ask to move room as we where told they where full when we checked in.

We stayed five nights. So this was not just comments for one or two nights and I think they are fair.

Room Tip: If you get R319 ask if the bathroom has been refurbed
