“Good Location But Needs a Refurb”
Reviewed 27 February 2014

Back again for an event in Valencia and again I am reminded the hotel is not the greatest, but the positive is that it is a great location. The rooms are basic and the hotel reception staff are not the friendliest, which I do not understand these days. The restaurant has a limited menu but the staff here are very friendly and professional. It has a feeling of a 1970's hotel and really needs attention, the rooms which are good size but very thin walls so you can hear your neighbours which if they are having fun and are loud is not the best. As the event booked the hotel I do not have a choice of where I stayed but I would not come back here with other options in this great city

Walking into the lobby you wouldn't expect the rooms to be so aged, however the hotel is in a great location and there are nice restaurants. However being 21 and carrying a backpack I got a few filthy looks from staff and had some rude comments from concierge about if I could afford to stay here.

For what I got out of it, the hotel wasn't the greatest and I would of definitely preferred to stay at a hostel. Where people are friendlier.

Dear guest,
We appreciate your comments made about our hotel. Regarding your complaints, we would like you to contact us to give us more information about what happened, as our major priority is the dealing with our guests and also we have many young guests from all over the world, so that cases as yours are not common. We are convinced that the misunderstanding was created when we asked your credit card number on the check-in to guarantee your stay. As in many other hotels, is the company policy ask the credit card number to all our guests, as by this way we can open the room account and the guest can use all the services of the hotel and pay at the check-out. Anyway we feel sorry if this fact has caused you some discomfort.
Kind Regards,

This is a good hotel and ideal for our visit with our two year old daughter Daisy. Last time(summer) we had a few problems with the air con and had to move rooms, but loved the pool. This time we booked the superior room using the sitting room for the cot. The room was still too hot 25 degrees but....

very good choice at breakfast and very helpful staff in restaurant and reception. Only comment toaster made toast too pale and where is the real orange juice! Good Caesar salad. Rooms very clean. Great bed!

Stayed here for a week holiday. Nice pool located on top of the roof. Location was convenient... You can walk at the basement of the shopping mall behind the hotel and go to the underground station. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. The room was fine. The only thing I don't like is the room facing backward towards the shopping centre where it can be a bit noisy at night sometimes. Overall it was nice stay and good location to get around.

The hotel is very shabby, It is stuck in the 70s and badly needs rennovation. Breakfast could be better as well. This hotel is my worst experience so far. I will never return and do not recommend it to others.

This was my second stay and again it offered good value for a short stay. Arriving by bus its location very near the central bus station is a bonus. With a friendly welcome, decent room and above average breakfast I'd recommend it as a very good base for visiting Valencia - especially if you enjoy walking along the fantastic dry river bed. For those who enjoy shopping, it is literally on top of a modern major shopping mall.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the main road - overlooking the shopping centre is the best bet for a quiet...

The hotel is well situated and close to the centre of town (20/30 minute walk), although bus service outside hotel. Staff are very pleasant and speak good English. Breakfast was OK , although the menu was limited. However the rooms although clean are in need of refurbishment, the wooden furniture is only good for firewood. However saying that the hotel is ideal for a short visit.
