“A really good 3 Star Hotel - great value”
Reviewed 7 June 2013

I stayed here for some four months whilst buying and organising a house move. The hotel is very reasonably priced and the price is per room as with most Spanish hotels. Breakfast is free and though other meals aren´t served there is a wonderful Spanish bar (Bar Mari) five minutes walk away . The rooms are of excellent standard and with wi-fi and all the usual facilities. It is a budget hotel but is a gentle half-hour´s walk from the city centre twenty minutes from the City of Arts and Sciences and the Oceanografic. There is a mall fifteen minutes walk away and an excellent bus service into the city from close behind the hotel, near the Bar Mari. This is a really reasonable way to stay in my favourite Spanish city. This hotel is very popular with bikers when there is an important event on at the Cheste Circuit, but don´t let this put you off as they are well behaved and pleasant people.

Room Tip: There are no ground floor rooms but the lift works well. Even though the front of the hotel overlook...

This hotel is old and tired. Appalling breakfast, noisy rooms and air-con didn't work. Had a buggy with me and had to wait 20 minutes for the lift as it was so busy. in the end used stairs after helpful person offered ( not hotel staff!). Tried to overcharge us and had to get manager down to sort it out. Staff overworked and not enough of them. Location ok if you are on a stopover but forget it as a holiday destination. Had a car with us and told us to park on the street at a cost of 15 euros a day. (seedy area). Only after a lot of haggling did they let us put it in the secure car park as advertised on the website.

Room Tip: Go somewhere else!

I had already stay at hotels of this chain in the States and again in Europe very pleased with them, clean room and bathroom the only detail could be the lack of a mini fridge that I know a lot of people would apppreciate maybe a fridge is not so important in Europe but I am sure most tourist would find useful.Staff was friendly and kind to help me. It´s quite close from a big mall with supermarket (carrefour) and a lot of stores and restaurants, also quite close to the city of arts and science a 15 minute walk on an avenue that seems developing. On the street behind to the hotel there is a bus stop the line 7 takes you to the downtown. For the price you are paying I would higly recommend. Other persons here point the fact there was a lack of closet, you have some hangers to put your clothes but lets remember is a cheaper hotel if you want more specific feature you pay more right?. They have free breakfast and I gotta say it was really good with typical spanish breakfast (toasts, croissant, ham, cheese and cereal) all very good quality. If you have a car you have a garage to park that charges you 15 euros a day (pricey) they also charge you 9 euros a day for wifi. I guess in europe these kind of features are pricey in the states you get free wifi and free parking but well each place is different.

This hotel is near the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias In Valencia, about 15 minutes walk or you can take the bus, 2 stops. The staff is very helpful. From the airport you can take the metro until Xativa Square, and from there you can take the bus 7 or by night N7 and the bus stop is in the back of the hotel. You cannot miss it, you will see the hotel in the Square. The time is about 20 minutes, there are a few stops.
If you are a Priority Club Platinum you'll have internet for free, and works good. The breakfast is quite poor, but I discovered that the breakfast generally in Spain is poor, so you'll find it OK.
Ask for a square view high floor to see the traffic in the morning, or as for a room vwith view in the back if you want it quiet.

Out of all the Holiday Inn (and Express) hotels in València we chose this one for a combination of location and price, and we were quite satisfied. To be honest, the hotel is not outstanding at all. It looks quite tired, and with so much traffic around, the windows didn't quite cancel the noise outside.

But on the other hand, the staff was really nice and made us feel at home. The hotel is within walking distance (15-20 minutes) of the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, but you may take a taxi if it's too hot. We came by car but never actually drove it, especially as we could park it in the street free of charge and only a few steps away.

A good budget option in València.

The Hotel is what you can expect from a Holiday Inn Express. Reception staff spoke English and were Helpful. The hotel is within walking distance ( 15min walk ) from the Marine Park and also a big shopping Mall with plenty of restaurants inside. Behind the Hotel there is a frequent bus to take you to the city attractions so it is very easy to go around !

I stay in over 100 hotels every year and the majority are holiday inns of various types. Ths is by far the worst. Room smelled of smoke, noisey air con, not very clean, small, very thin towels, double glazing all steamed up. Location was very good and easy to find. Reception staff were great and a bit overworked.
