A great city centre location, only a few minutes' walk from the railway station and the Plaza de l'Ajuntament. We had a large room, overlooking the street. Air conditioning was effective and quiet. A very large bathroom with a powerful shower. Lots of hanging space. The buffet breakfasts were fine - but we would have appreciated a change in the menu on occasion. As ex-smokers, we were a bit surprised to find that the corridor to our rooms often smelt of tobacco smoke. Evidently some of the guests felt it was OK to smoke in their rooms... We didn't use the bar, but we were a bit surprised to note that it closes at 11:00 pm. In a late-night city like Valencia, that seems a bit early! Would we return? Probably not. Although the hotel met all of our needs, it is a bit functional and lacks personality. Great for a business trip, but perhaps not the best base for a holiday!

Spent 3 days at this recently refurbished hotel and was not disappointed. Had an 'executive' room which was very large with new modern decor. Hotel had hot buffet breakfast. The great advantage of this hotel is its location being only a 5 min walk to the main train station of Valencia and also the metro and on the fringe of the old town of Valencia which was a 10 min walk away.
Make sure you visit the new architecture as well as the old - I was so surprised. The City Bus tour is a good bet if you want to see all the sights and take in the coast and port. Make sure you also get a decent map.... there are so many churches and cathedrals to look out for that it is often difficult to know which one you are at and the maps aren't that clear with street names.
Wifi is free in hotel although we struggled to get it in our room and if you like a cuppa in your oom then bring your own kettle as they are not provided. I couldn't have chosen a better hotel for location and would certainly stay again.

Location is good. That's the best thing about the hotel. Had a room on second floor. Ask for higher! It's on top of a mall, and you will often hear the sound from the speakers. The towels smells of cigarettsmoke... Every day... The aircon, not so good.. Breakfast 10€, expensive. But, beds are good, Nice size on the room, and a fridge...

My group and I spent a night here in June - the week before the Grand Prix. We had arrived by train from Barcelona and go the shuttle bus from the Joaquin Sorolla train station to the main train station. From there, it was a short walk to the hotel (we took the wrong street and so it wasn't the most pleasant walk but had we gone along the right street, it would have been nice enough),. The hotel is conveniently located about 10 minutes walk from the train station. It is very modern and we were greeted by very friendly and efficient staff. Our room wasn't quite ready when we arrived (we were earlier than their published check in time) and so we had a short wait in the pleasant lobby. The staff member on reception also helped us sort out or bus tour which was great. On entering our room, we could not believe what we were getting for the price. The room was pristine, as was the bathroom. Decorated tastefully, to a very high standard. The beds had a really nice, firm mattress and mood lighting. The free wifi worked very well. I spent some time in the gym and sauna which were well maintained.
I would imagine that some people would rather stay down by the port or maybe in the centre of the old town (about 12 minutes walk from Hotel Medium Conqueridor) but I can assure you that a warm welcome and a more than pleasant stay awaits you at this hotel, I would return tomorrow if I could.

If you are looking for a good deal, stylish ambient, good location, I can highly recommend this hotel for you. The rooms are specious, clean, the beds in good shape. Within walking minutes you are in the center of Valencia. The staff is friendly and knowledgable. I am sure there are better hotels in this city but not many will be able to beat this value.

The location is excellent as it is a 5 min walk to the metro station and just a little further to the old town.
The metro and tram to the beach do not take very long at all and you can walk to most places if you choose, including the City of Arts and Sciences, which we did and I would highly reccommend.
The room itself was very clean and had a hair dryer, wifi, phone, TV, desk etc. The bathroom was spacious with a huge mirror!
We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but chose to go to a variety of little cafes along the road to the metro. This was great as two pastries and two coffees were just over 5 Euros, a bargain!
The hotel staff were helpful and polite.
The location of this hotel is great to explore the city and was very quiet at night.
