“Awesome”

Go for both the architecture and furnishings, and for the extensive collection of ceramics from the Roman period to Picasso. You need a couple of hours to see it all, and is well worth the time.

“palace and ceramics museum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 April 2014

worth a visit. good collection of ceramic items from different styles, epochs and origins provides excellent overview into the history of ceramic art in Spain.
the palace is an item of its own, also good with furniture and gives impression on how things were.

“I stumbled across Heaven.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 March 2014

I don't know what else I can add to what others have said, it's one of the most wonderful places I have visited in a long time. It's free on Sunday, but I arrived with only an hour to spare so I had dash round. It's full of the most beautiful chandeliers and painted ceilings, furniture, clocks, ceramics, jewellery, all very-well presented. Totally fabulous.

“Wonderfully restored aristocratic home”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 March 2014 via mobile

Three of us visited late one morning during las fallas. You will find many people outside just taking facade photos and moving on. Don't. Go inside for 3€ and enjoy a free guided tour in your language of choice. Not only is the home lovingly restored, the restoration team hunted throghout Europe to find as many pieces as possible that were original to the home, not just random pieces indicative of the period. Worth a leisurely visit. The main entrance is off the street directly across the pedestrian walkway from the Marquis cafe and adjacent hotel.
