This little hotel was very basic however with an appropriate price. The location in the historic centre could not have been better. The room was a good size, clean and included tv and free WiFi. The friendly staff helped us out on a number of occasions. Highly recommend for value albeit far from luxurious.

Valencia is one of the jewels of Spain, and to visit it during the famous Las Fallas festival gives a great insight to the lovely, friendly people who are the beating heart of this great city. I stayed at the Antigua Morellana during the festival and was overwhelmed by the kindness of the family run hotel, where Sonia and her sisters do everything to make sure your stay in Valencia is memorable. They also own the oldest bakery in the old city a few yards away, and their pastries are the best in Valencia! The hotel is perfectly placed so you can see everything the old city has to offer. It's only a few metres from the famous Central Market, the Lonja, and all the ancient sights from the Cathedral to the Plaza de la Virgen are only a few minutes walk away. During Las Fallas, the old city is the place to be, as it is bustling with excitement as the local community builds it's monuments and prepares them for the big day. Las Fallas is a unique festival, and the Hotel Antigua Morellana is a special place to stay, and where visitors return again and again to enjoy the splendid hospitality.

Hi spent 4 nights in Valencia, exploring the city. The hostel was exactly what I was looking for: very clean and comfortable, excellent location, and super nice and helpful hosts. The place is run by two sisters, who took it over from their parents. The friendly family-atmosphere is very apparent. It's in a great location of town, and every morning they were very happy to help me plan an itinerary for the day. I would most gladly go back! A great value for the price.

just back from our annual stay in valencia, the perfect place to escape the winter, have a break and enjoy shopping and great food.

just a few meters away from the central market hall, on of the most beautiful, beside the lonja, one of the main sights and few minutes walk to to main places and restaurants, bars....

cosy rooms in spanish style, air condition, small balkonies and bathroom, very helpfulls stuff and the family also owns a pastry shop down the street (try the empanadas if like something salty or the melanza pastry.....)

we allready cant wait be back again, 4th time.....

Super friendly and helpful staff, ran into three different front desk staff members and each were equally friendly. Bed was comfy, bathroom was fine, the walls are a bit thin, but I carry a sound machine program on my ipad so it really didn't both me and for 50 Euro, it's hard to have any complaints.

We met five of them and we were there only one night. All were charming even the very clean dog. The rooms are not big but the service and cleanliness are very good. Sonia helped us to get settled then told us of all the wonderful sights to see just a short walk from the Hotel. Don't miss sister Lauren's bakery nearby. Parking is always a challenge in European city centers but is available within a short walk at 25 Euros per 24 hr stay. We bought a terrific paella dish and some tasty food at Europe's largest market just minutes from the Hotel. Don't miss the architecture of the middle ages silk borse.
