“Great value for money”
Reviewed 15 August 2012

This hotel is new, modern, recently refurbished. Rooms are large, clean. View from our room was not nice though.

Location is OK, not the best.

Breakfast, included in the price, is very nice, in a nice room overlooking the street.

At 80 euros breakfast included, this was great value for money. Would do it again!

A fantastic hotel at a very affordable rafe. The hotel is only a five minute walk from the Colon metro stop. When my wife and I checked in we were moved to a larger room when the receptionist realised we were staying for a week. All of the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and courteous and spoke great English.

We didn't have breakfast in the hotel, choosing instead to eat in the many restaurants that are located in the area. I must particularly recommend the restaurant around the corner from Hotel Dimar. While it doesn't look like anything special from the outside the food is very good and the staff are great.

All in all I would have no problem recommending Husa Dimar for anyone staying in Valencia for any length of time. We will definitely be visiting again.

Myself and my Boyfriend stayed here for one night on a Friday in July 2012. The hotel is very modernly decorated and is great value for money. The Hotel staff were very helpful and gave us guides and maps of local attractions. The rooms were very clean and up-to-date and although we had twin beds they were very comfortable. We had twin beds because we asked for a smoking room and the double rooms were fully booked. The views were not that great as we had a room facing the back, however we didn't really mind as we were up early the next day. The mini bar is good and has a large choice and there are tea & coffee making facilities. The hotel is in a great spot near shops, bars, restaurants and taxi's. It's only a few minutes from the beach in a taxi and cost hardly anything. We would've stayed longer if we could but have already planned to go back there next year.

Room Tip: Smoking rooms are located at the top & back of the hotel so your view is restricted to apartment...

I choosed this hotel expecially for his price per night (70eu) and his great location really near of major point of interest. I think that best way to move in Valencia is by bike and lot of people agree. I suggest if you stay more than two days to use valenbisi (I'll write smthg about). The hotel is really confortable, room are clean and have all you need from toilet accessories to minibar (also cava inside). Service always friendly and really helpful. At desktop you can also buy tickets (not for bus/metro). Lot of restaurants and tapas bar around (especiallly comte Altea). Take a 4 days stay and you'll love Valencia.

Room Tip: maybe...check if air conditoner it's noisy

Although this hotel is not in a very central location, it benefits from being a 2-min walk to the Turia Gardens and even closer to a bewildering choice of restaurants located on Calle Salamanca and its side streets. It takes about 15 min to walk to the hotel with light luggage from the Estacion del norte.
The rooms are very modern, although we were unable to get a room with a double bed that wasn't on the main thoroughfare. The only ones left at 18h00 were twins facing a much quieter courtyard. Having said this, the noise from the road isn't a major issue unless of course you really do require something almost noiseless to get a good sleep.
The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful.
If you book online they offer breakfast at 8 euros per person per day, instead of the normal 16. At this price, breakfast represents good value, although the hot section leaves a lot to be desired. Coffee is excellent so are the cuts of meat, fruit and breads.
My only advice would be to check the location carefully as you may want to be closer the centre of town.

Room Tip: For a quieter room ask for one not on the Gran Via Marques del Turia.

I honestly did not expected such a great hotel for 80 Euros / night. The location is great within walking distances to almost any place except for the beach.

Very clean with a modern decoration.

Highly recommended.

The hotel is situated less than two minutes from the fabulous Turia Gardens, next to a cute little square on Valencia's Gran Via with plenty of decent restaurants and bars in easy reach but not encroaching on your door step. Service was friendly and efficient, the amount of information booklets we received was amazing. The place is distincly modern and in some ways minimalist or even spartanic, without feeling cold or lacking atmosphere (or anything else for that matter). The room was spacious and clean. The bed was firm and very comfortable for rest and sleep alike. Nothing in the room looked dated or out of place. The bathroom was also spacious and very clean. Given that we paid just under €50 for our room makes this one of the best bargains we've ever bagged. In addition, we were able to walk everywhere in the old town in 5 - 25 minutes which made it not only a great value stay but also extremely enjoyable all over.
