Great location! Beautiful, nicely decorated and comfortable rooms/beds. The bathrooms are very spacious. I lived the view from my room and it was very clean. I would recommend this to my friends. I wasn't in my hotel room much and I only set breakfast there, but the food and ESPRESSO was fabulous!

Stayed: February 2014, travelled on business

contemporary hotel, in a wonderful area close to lots of restaurants and in an residential area away from the tourist where the real Valencian dine and drink and enjoy life. we love this area and keep returning to it. Our favorite tapas bar, Vela, just across the road so we will return

Staff very helpful from email contact requesting room and reserving bikes to helping us during our stay, including friendly relaxed contact. Always important for me is being able to leave bags on final day of visit and be able to freshen up before catching a plane - this was made very easy for us. Room reasonable size, airy and with a very comfortable and large double bed. Boutique style, modern and very clean and in excellent decorative order. Breakfast choices adequate, dining space pleasant. Location great, close to restaurants for dinner, the city centre 10 - 15 mins walk with the metro at hand. Hotel adjacent to (old) River Turia for walking and cycling - and again 15 minutes away from the contemporary cultural centre. Bike hire half of the regular bike companies at 9 Euros per day.

Room Tip: Room on 8th floor, traffic noise reduced, and benefitted from the light including some lovely sunset...

We visited Valencia to see some friends and stayed for 3 nights with a 7 month old baby. The hotel was absolutely perfect for what we needed. The room was very clean, very well decorated, boutique style and importantly for us large as we had a cot as well (room 702). We also has a bath which was added bonus for a baby, as well as tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel even gave us special toiletries for our baby. It was a great location for visiting different parts of the city, close to the main restaurants and also about a 10 minute walk from main city square. We didn't have breakfast or use Any of the facilities as we spent most of the time at our friends house, but this hotel suited our needs perfectly. Very clean and a top comfy bed. Highly recommend the value and quality of this hotel for a short break.

Room Tip: 702 was perfect

Stayed here for 7 nights back in October 2013. Good location for access to the city centre. Picked it because of good reviews on Tripadvisor and as others have mentioned it is very reasonably priced. Room very well decorated, very boutique. Service disappointing as not up to other reviewers experience. No outside space, no inside space to speak of, so not really a long stay place. I would say good for a short, maybe two night break. Personally I prefer the valencia palace.

We chose the Dimar for its location during the recent Fallas celebrations and were very pleased with our choice. Just minutes from the bridge over the old riverbed where everyone congregates for the massive firework displays and about 15 minutes walk from the main square where the Mascleta is held at 2pm each day leading up to March 19th - something everyone should experience in their lifetime!
Our room on the sixth floor at the back was quiet, clean and comfortable - exactly what we'd asked for. A spacious bathroom with bath and shower and huge (though rather thin and greying) towels. The hair dryer was pretty useless, but a better one can be borrowed from reception. Safe, minibar/fridge and tea & coffee making facilities (limited supplies). TV and free WiFi. The decor is modern/minimalist. The bed was very comfy and the aircon efficient and silent.
The breakfast was very good and available until 11am with a selection of hams, cheeses, fruit, cereals and pastries plus a couple of hot dishes and unlimited, excellent Nespresso coffee.
The reception staff were friendly and helpful and will store your luggage on day of departure. The No. 95 bus to the City of Arts and Sciences stops nearby or you can walk there through the riverbed gardens. The No. 2 bus to the beach and beach restaurants stops outside. The hotel is just under 10 minutes walk from Colon Metro stop (line 3 or 5 from the airport). The surrounding area is full of bars, cafés and restaurants - we thought the Raco del Turia restaurant in Calle Ciscar was excellent.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back are quiet but look out over other buildings. Our room 610 was very quiet and had a...
