The location of the hotel is very nice. In the old centre of Valencia.
Small little streets and very nice old buildings. From the website you can tell that the hotel is not advertising as being the biggest, luxurious and 50 swimming pools.
The hotel is very minimalistic, but is very good harmony.
The staff at reception is one of the best ever. (Not because she happened to be Dutch). Just because of the typical Dutch way of being welcome in the hotel and the willingness to help.
For this type of welcome I regret not to spend more hotel time in Holland.
Normally you are being interrogated and there is more interest in the creditcard than the person checking in. Caro Hotel is very good.
The room was indeed very minimally decorated, but that was what I booked. But it all worked and there was more than plenty of space. Nice big shower, without those cold curtains and lots of pressure.
The view could be better, but what do you expect? It is built inside an old town, so you have other buildings around you. But I did not get the impression people where there to look at hotel guests.
Very good hotel. More than good staff. When I need to be in Valencia again – I will go here again and I normally never stay in 1 hotel more than once.More
