I have been going to Valencia since the 90’s, and from the hotels I stayed at, Caro Hotel has got to be one of the very best. Located in the old Valencia, you are a few minutes away from so many attractions. The transformation of this old palace into a modern day five star hotel could not have been done more tastefully. The staff is exceptionally pleasant and eager to assist. A receptionist who spoke perfect English, and who politely led me to my room checked me in at 1:00 in the morning. He was efficient and alert at that time in the morning.
The room I was given (36) had a bath and a shower. Water pressure is super. Minibar is complimentary and replenished daily. The floor is clean and carpet free (I hate carpeted floors in hotels).
I was staying with family in Valencia, so the time I spent in the hotel during my six nights stay was very limited. However, the little time I did spend within the confines of the hotel was simply amazing. My only regret is not dining in their restaurant; Alma del Temple. I was saving it for my last night in Valencia, a Sunday. Sadly it was their day off. I heard good things about it and will definitely try it on my next trip.
Negative points? Very difficult to find any but if I want to nitpick, I can think of...I have been going to Valencia since the 90’s, and from the hotels I stayed at, Caro Hotel has got to be one of the very best. Negative points? Very difficult to find any but if I want to nitpick, I can think of a couple. Green conscious customers might prefer more LED lighting and the choice to launder the towels and sheets less frequently.
Would I recommend Caro Hotel to my friends? Definitely.
Would I go there again? Without a doubt!More
