During our two week tour of Spain and Portugal we stayed in this Hotel in Valencia . Two rooms for our family of four. It was an excellent hotel in an equally excellent location of the city. Rooms were spacious and had very good interior. Our experience with front desk staff was probably the best out of six different hotels of Spain where we stayed. Breakfast spread was very good.We found all the staff very helpful . On the whole it was a great Hotel in a great location of Valencia and definitely a great value for the money.

We found the front desk staff to be helpful but the room was just tiny! There were two twin beds pushed together for a double (yes, they moved a lot). Wi fi was spotty but OK. The pool was also tiny, warm water, no hot tub. Gym is very small. There is a terrace on the roof that ok to get some fresh air. We were there during las fallas so it was extremely noisy with fireworks and bands going late and starting early - no fault of the hotel though.

The nearby mall was great and a good place to go to buy some snacks and drinks for the room. McDonald's has free wifi with a great connection if you need more reliable service than offered at the hotel.

We walked to the downtown area for the fallas celebrations and it was about a 20-25 minute walk. We always felt safe.

I would say this hotel is adequate if you just need a place to sleep.

Dear Sir,

Thank you for having chosen NH Las Artes.

First of all thanks for your opinion, we will appreciate it to improve.
We are sorried for the inconveniences of small spaces, and next time we can offer you a bigger superior room.
Fallas is a nice party but it is true it is quiet noisy. We hope you enjoy days in Valencia.

Yours faithflly ,

Julio Krebs

We chose this hotel due to the location - near to the start/finish for the Valencia marathon. It is a good location for many of the sights in Valencia, El Saler shopping centre, buses aplenty, cheap taxis, and on the Tourist Bus route for a pleasant ride around the city.

Having stayed in NH hotels previously we knew that the rooms are really small, so opted for a junior suite on this occasion. It was very comfortable and well appointed, although lacked tea-making facilities as advertised. Also, a very tricky spiral staircase to the mezzanine level (photo below). Lovely views from room 1201.

The free wifi was OK - you have get a new code every 24hrs.

Breakfast buffet in the restaurant was very good.

Room service was average - served cold, only between 13h30-15h30 and 20h30-23h30. Room service breakfast although advertised was not available.

The restaurant is closed in the evenings at the weekend.

The gym was adequate. The indoor swimming pool was cold. The sauna was clean and worked well. Towels were sometimes not available.

The biggest let down was the staff. Bored, indifferent, unhelpful, some incompetent. Perhaps weekends are not the best time to stay at this hotel.

Room Tip: Choose a room on the garden side. Room 1201 has lovely views over the port and concert hall. Book br...

We have stayed in a few Valencia Hotels in the past and never had this experience before.
Arrived at the hotel with friends and we were allocated two adjoining rooms. Our room air conditioning did not work and neither did the room safe. Our friends room next door smelled strongly of smoke (this is a non-smoking hotel ?).
Friends reported the smell to reception and were moved to another room. We reported the faults and after waiting an hour, reported it again, explaining that our two night break was fast disappearing, eventually had a maintenance man attend. Although, he fixed the safe, he could not fix the air conditioning. He then phoned reception and they agreed to move us to another room.
The rooms are clean and comfortable but a bit tired and the rooms had two single beds which tended to slide around the room when you leaned back on the headboards.
The hotel is ideally placed for visiting the City of Arts and Sciences and the 35 bus from outside goes into the old city centre for Euro 1.50 each way.

This is a well priced hotel within walking distance of the City of Arts and Sciences. Breakfast is excellent. Reception and waiting staff are very helpful. Wifi is free. Rooms can be a little noisy so ask for a room overlooking the garden. A pleasant walk during the day to the old part of the city, but you would probably want to get a taxi back late in the evening.

Stayed here for one night, and was shocked to see this rated as a 4*. The bedrooms are tiny, which is fine for a city hotel. However the decor in the room was very old and tired - in desperate need of an update. We had holes in the bed covers, and the sink surround in the bathroom had a huge crack in it which someone has attempted to fill. All the furniture was chipped and worn and overall just needs modernising.
The staff are lovely and very helpful

It was my first time i have been to Valencia , Spain & it was wonderful to stay at NH hotels , Staff was very good & the only problem was that with the bed , there were two bed joined together & those bed was having wheels & when you are sleeping there is chance you may fall in between two beds, so ask them for proper bed room. its slightly far from airport around 19 km appox. there is one really good science museum next to hotel.

Room Tip: Select the room facing towards the Main road & as high floor as you can get
