Walking into the lobby, I knew I was going to enjoy my stay here. The interior was softly modern, with echoes of an old palace. White hues, dark wood accents, alabaster brick, and a subtle, clean, citrus scent filled the reception area.
We booked a standard room with a garden view for two nights, paying around 100 euros per night. For the level of cleanliness, comfort, tranquility, and decor; this price seemed to be quite competitive. The room itself had 15 foot ceilings, a bath area finished in carrera marble, and a small balcony with french doors overlooking the courtyard/restaurant. The queen bed was extremely comfortable and all the linens were top-notch.
The stellar accomodations were equally matched by a very high level of service, especially by a gentleman named Laur. He went above and beyond at every opportunity; doing so in a way that exhibited a professional, yet caring, attitude towards his guests.
To me, there is no other option for luxury boutique accomodation in Valencia, and without question I will return to Hospes Palau De La Mar.More
