5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 December 2013 credit card Amex Cardmember Review

Ended our 21 days on and off the east coast of Spain here for 4 days. Perfect wind down. Service is outstanding. Room with balcony overlooking the sea recommended. Adult pool and lawn area allows for undisturbed rest. September is warm and balmy. There is much to see in Valencia, old and new, all close by. Hotel restaurant is high end.

We have just returned from our weekend trip to Valencia, our stay being at the 5 star Las Arenas on the sea front. Brilliant double room with awesome sea view, quality food ,amazing service and hospitality all round. Not too far from the tram stops either, highly recommended!

Room Tip: book the sea facing rooms, well worth the money.

Had a pleasant stay. All the staff were friendly and helpful and with a busy three year old in tow, that says a lot. The room was adequate, pools were clean and good to swim in. A handy door on the side of the property gave access to and from the beach. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of local and global dishes. Our budget did not allow us to try the restaurant as it was a tad expensive.

Room Tip: Room 101 on the side of the hotel overlooks both the sea and pool area.

Las Arenas is a gorgeous hotel with great service & very helpful staff. The sea view rooms are lovely and the hotels facilities are great. The breakfast buffet was huge with everything you could imagine. Highly recommended!

Room Tip: Its definitely worth paying a little extra for a sea view room.

I stayed here with my wife in November 2013. We had a double room with ocean view.

The hotel is great and deserves high ratings. But, 5-stars is half a star too many. Little things like only one soap in the bathroom, somewhat bad smell in the bathroom, crowded breakfast area (they only opened half of the available area) and not the "top notch" service that 5-star hotels should have.

Now, don't misunderstand me. This is a really good hotel in almost every way. But since it's a five-star, I think we can be a little picky. Right?

The gym and the spa are fantastic and the lobby is astonishingly big (just to sit and have a drink is nice down there).

Worth a visit for sure!

We have been there for a company meeting and luckily it was sunny and the sea view is great! The service is terrible, waiters don't understand a word of English and even if you try to talk in their mother language they just don't listen. The breakfast was always cold, cold coffe, cold eggs...what a shame

I really enjoyed my time here - the staff were welcoming and attentive and the facilities were amazing, including the pool. Some amazing features too, including a water feature and two temples in the grounds. Adjacent to the beach too, so perfect location - would not hesitate to recommend it.
